Slasher flips the script and says "not so fast!"

Back at the start of the games, Dr. Trinh told the family that no one would die during the games (but of course she never promised they'd have functioning bodies by the end, either). So it comes as a shock when manipulative Harpy, Florence, finds herself having to pick between herself and a family member she may have feelings for. For the second time, Florence kills, but this time, it's not entirely her fault, and it's rather cruel.

Sabrina Grdevich plays the conflict well, her greedy, stubborn eyes giving way to the faintest glimmer of hurt and despair as she lets a loved one choke to death in the episode's closing moments.

Before that all though, we get treated to another truly messed up game. This time it's paintball. Except with bullets. And no protective gear. Whoever doesn't get shot: wins! Grace lets her guard down just enough to end up about 50g lighter, and young Aphra, demon child of Seamus and Christy, begins appearing a little less sane when she gleefully runs off to begin shooting her family.

As the season progresses, more characters are getting to shine, and so it is that Grace and Aphra also have moments to show more. O'Keefe's defining characteristic, beside being non-binary, is that they're inoffensive. It's not so interesting a role, I'd have had more respect if they had tried to murder mommy in the bunker, so thank heavens for cooky Aphra who ends this episode bathed in blood.
