I found this title on Netflix, one evening while browsing through their animated section. The synopsis seemed adequate, and I thought it might be a nice introduction to the "Little Witch Academia" franchise and not having to sit through an entire series.
It turns out that "Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade" (aka "Ritoru wicchi akademia: Mahoujihikake no parêdo") was adequate entertainment, although a bit on the more childish side.
The drawing style was a bit too simplistic for my taste. So I didn't fully enjoy that aspect of the animation.
I watched it with the original Japanese language track, which is the one and only way to experience foreign movies and animations. I am quite sure that if it was dubbed, it would have made the experience suffer, as dubbing usually tend to drag a movie downwards.
I haven't watched the series so I was not familiar with the characters in the movie. And I haven't particularly been spurred to go and watch the series after having watched this mediocre animated movie.
