End of Summer (I) (2015)
10/10
Perfect subtlety

Subtle and quiet, visually beautiful, and gracefully told.

End of Summer is a treat for your eyes, a must see for sentimental souls. It's a nostalgic, simple, love story that we all can relate to. The tone is deliciously melancholic.

We are not usually exposed to heartfelt and authentic love stories. This short film reflects how each of us felt at least once. Either as "Laura" or "James".

Excellent performances, and great director's vision. We definitely need to be more exposed to this kind of sensitive, and above all, honest films.

10 stars out of 10.
