The other side of war, and it's a side I'd much prefer. Although Emily Lloyd, gets b**ody annoying, it's such a captivating performance, as the high strung daughter who's father died in the war. Now residing with her Uncle (an Amazing Willis), she's intent, or I should obsessed, with finding everything on her father. She has a sort of trashy boyfriend, she doesn't really love and has a one night stand, with a man, 30 years her senior, a familiar FULL MEAL jacket face, and Terry is really good to as ex marine, now motor mechanic, displaying haunting emotions, so believable, still clearly affected. But it's Willis who really deserves the acting acclaim here, stealing every scene he's in. We really come to like these characters and wanna know more about. The acting is first rate here, by everyone, who really pull their socks up, and gets us involved in their characters. A much respectful and unforgettable ending too. A near two hour engaging war drama, In Country should be watched by anyone in every country. And whatever happened with great actress Lloyd? She came and went. She really did get on my nerves in this, though.
