Jennifer Carsillo plays her real life great-grandmother ("Esther") in the short film St. Esther Day (2019), which she co-wrote and produced with director Camille Gladney. St. Esther Day is based on true events Jennifer's great-grandmother Esther experienced as a new immigrant from Sweden, working as a domestic servant for a spiteful woman (Sherry Kerr "Madam") and her daughter (model and actress Alexis Morreale, also a producer of the film). With original music by Adam Cohen (Psych), St. Esther Day premiered as a Top 20 Official Selection at Louisiana Film Prize in October 2019.
