John Avatefi

John Avatefi began studying acting when he was nine years old in the city of Rosemead, CA. He studied theatre at San Gabriel High School under the direction of Dennis Reed. He attended Cal Poly, Pomona where he was signed on by Jasper Vance of PRII. He studied acting under Bob Gilbert and learned a great deal of technical theatre from Joyce Ehrenberg. He then transferred to Cal State, Los Angeles where he studied acting under Merris Ubans. He subsequently became a theatre director in Southern California.
