The new season continues to explore the fusion of Indian classical music with contemporary pop, following protagonists Radhe and Tamanna as they compete for recognition. The film is a Prime Video commission, as opposed to an acquisition. “We have been acquiring films, we have been putting films straight on our service and over the last two years, we put almost 60 films out and we also bought into co-productions. Singer Shreya Ghoshal, who sang first song of her career for the Madhuri Dixit-starrer ‘Devdas’, says the new track ‘Boom Padi’ from the Gujarati film ‘Maja Ma’ is even more special for her as it is the actress’s first-ever garba dance number.

The makers of ‘Maja Ma’, which will release digitally on Prime Video, launched a foot-tapping, upbeat dance number titled ‘Boom Padi’ on Thursday. The music video from the film, sees Madhuri weave her magic, with catchy hook steps.

Directed by Anand Tiwari, ‘Maja Ma’ is Prime Video’s first Indian Amazon Original movie, set against the celebratory backdrop of a traditional festival and a quintessential, colourful Indian wedding.

"I have a long list of things on my bucket list. To highlight a few -- sky diving, witnessing northern lights and, since I like flying, I would love to get pilot's license," Shreya said.

The musical web series Bandish Bandits has garnered popularity as well as critical acclaim, and creators of the show, Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari, say they are considering a new season although it is premature to make an announcement just now.

"There is definitely a thought brewing and we are trying to develop the proper script for a new season. We intend to make a new season of the show after seeing the great response that we have got, but we are not announcing anything officially yet. This is a very special show for us. The show is loved by so many people that we do not want to spoil anything. We have to deliver the best, it either has to be better than the first season or match up to its standard.
