Scooter Braun is launching a new campaign to support both Palestinians in Gaza who have been affected by the war, as well as families of Israeli hostages.

The 42-year-old music mogul, who is proudly Jewish, says that “you can do two things” at once.

Scooter will be donating $100,000 of his own money to Care.org to get aid to innocent Palestinians and he’s matching that donation with another $100,000 contribution “to the Hostages and Missing Families Forum in Israel to help those families affected by Oct. 7th, and those families still suffering because those hostages deserve and must come home.”

The campaign was announced in a video message on Scooter‘s Instagram page.

Scooter Braun is stepping up his efforts to help the people affected by the Oct. 7th terrorist attacks in Israel and Palestinians suffering from the devastating war in Gaza, with the music mogul keen to stress “you can do two things,” by helping both groups.

The Hybe-America CEO posted a lengthy video on Instagram on Wednesday night that outlined his plans to work with humanitarian agency Care International and the Hostages and Missing Families Forum in Israel, personally donating a total of $200,000 to get much-needed financial support to the people most acutely impacted by the ongoing conflict.

Braun said he, along with his Palestinian-American friend Nasim and Scott Budnik, will be kicking off the Care Together campaign with Care.org next week and that he would be personally donating $100,000. The campaign, Braun says, “will help 200 Palestinian families with sustainable help in this time of need.”

Lionsgate has hired Nasim Cambron as executive vice president of worldwide publicity. The decision was announced Friday by Jp Richards and Keri Moore, president and co-president of marketing for the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group.

In her role, Cambron will report to Moore, supervising film public relations for the company.

Lionsgate has hired Nasim Cambron to lead its film publicity efforts. She starts Nov. 7 as executive vice president of worldwide publicity and will report to Keri Moore, co-president of marketing at Lionsgate.

Cambron previously worked at STX, leading campaigns for Hustlers, the Bad Moms films, I Feel Pretty and Molly’s Game and working Dei committee. Before STX, she was part of Netflix’s film PR team working on campaigns for Charlize Theron’s The Old Guard, Michael Bay’s 6 Underground and Tyler Perry’s A Fall From Grace.

Nasim Cambron has been appointed as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Publicity for Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group. She will assume the post on November 7, reporting to Lionsgate Motion Picture Group’s Co-President of Marketing, Keri Moore.

Cambron comes to Lionsgate from STXfilms, where she most recently served as Executive Vice President of Publicity. She will now oversee a team coordinating earned media on a slate that includes John Wick: Chapter 4; The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, the prequel to the studio’s nearly 3 billion franchise; Now You See Me 3, to be directed by Ruben Fleischer; Expendables 4; the reimagining of the beloved classic Dirty Dancing, starring and executive produced by Jennifer Grey; the John Wick offshoot Ballerina, starring Knives Out‘s Ana de Armas; and a new continuation of the billion-dollar Saw franchise starring Tobin Bell.

This wasn't an instance where an episode or two were finished and the team was in the process of shooting the rest of the season, either. Season 2 of "Chad" was signed, sealed, and delivered, only to have their plug pulled just before airtime. A few months later, HBO Max quietly dropped the series' first season from their streaming platform, effectively yeeting "Chad" into the digital void, only to remain a distant memory. The cancellation seemed to be collateral damage in the wake of the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, which inspired some pretty drastic changes for both TBS and sibling cable channel TNT.

Nasim Pedrad’s cringe comedy series “Chad” has been saved from certain death. The series, which aired its first season on TBS, will move to the Roku Channel for Season 2, IndieWire has confirmed.

In July, TBS pulled Season 2 from its programming schedule the day it was scheduled to premiere and confirmed to several outlets that the season would not air on the network. The show, which had already wrapped production on the season, was the highest profile consequence of restructuring at the channel following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger. The merger prompted the company, under the leadership of David Zaslav, to cut original scripted programming from TBS and other networks in its portfolio.

Chad is getting a much-needed reprieve at Roku.

Months after TBS canceled the Nasim Pedrad comedy ahead of its second season premiere, the series has been picked up by Roku.

All episodes of Chad Season 2 were in the can prior to the cancellation.

“The Roku Channel is committed to championing creativity and fostering great storytelling,” Colin Davis, head of scripted originals at Roku, said in a statement shared by Deadline.

“Chad is a story years-in-the-making that deserved to be told. We’re thrilled to be partnering closely with Nasim and her team to bring the next chapter of this exceptional series both to existing fans, as well as sharing it for the first time with new audiences, on The Roku Channel.”

The series, in which Pedrad plays an awkward high schooler, will move to the Roku Channel for its second season. Chad originally aired on TBS, but the cable network in July scrapped the finished second season as its parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery, moved away from scripted original series at TBS and sister channels TNT and TruTV.

Exclusive: Chad has found a new home.

The second season of Nasim Pedrad’s coming-of-age comedy series will run on The Roku Channel after it was scrapped as part of the cost-cutting measures at Warner Bros. Discovery cable network TBS.

As Deadline revealed, Chad was one of a number of shows and movies — completed or in various stages of pre-production or production — that were dropped after CEO David Zaslav took charge of the combined company. While the others were permanently shelved to use as corporate tax write-downs, following a plea by Pedrad to the new TBS leadership, she and her team were allowed to shop the series.
