Coming from the creative team of Jason Aaron, Chris Burnham, Brian Reber and Shawn Lee, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4 continues the trend of featuring one of the four brothers in a one-off story. The latest issue focuses on Donatello, and finds the tech-obsessed Turtle in pretty dire straits.

When Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem opened a year ago, it hit like a mutagen bomb. Despite our fab four characters of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael being around for decades—this year marks their 40th(!) anniversary—never before had anyone really thought about treating them like… teenagers.

In the dizzyingly animated film, the characters were played by real adolescents like Nicolas Cantu (Leo), Micah Abbey (Donnie), Shamon Brown Jr. (Mikey), and Brady Noon (Raph). None of whom were old enough to vote when first stepping into the recording booth—a place where they recorded entirely together and in a style apropos of writers and producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The creatives who long favored spontaneity, and in this case the filmmakers wanted to catch the giggling authenticity of youth.

A brand-new teaser trailer for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been revealed ahead of the cartoon's August 9th debut. And the new footage reveals that Metalhead—a beloved, mechanical "5th Turtle"—will be making his appearance.

Metalhead had earlier appearances in both the animated series from 2012 and the iconic '80s cartoon. The character made his comic book debut in the 2014 Idw Tmnt series, in issue 34, which takes place during the Monsters, Misfits, and Madmen narrative arc.

In the action figure community, in particular, Metalhead has been a fan favorite since its introduction back in the '80s.

A new promotional image for the forthcoming animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, produced by Nickelodeon and Paramount+, has been released by Total Film magazine (via Toonado).

The animated series will pick up where the 2023 animated feature film from director Jeff Rowe and writers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg left off. Mutant Mayhem grossed $180.5 million worldwide on a $70 million production budget.

While the film may not have reached the box office heights that Paramount wished, the studio pressing on with more plans for this new radical take on the Turtles, in addition to the forthcoming Paramount+ animated series, an animated film sequel that will feature the Shredder is also in development. The sequel is slated to release on October 9, 2026.

Speaking to Total Film, executive producer Chris Yost shared some of the material that served as inspiration for Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

San Diego Comic-Con has rolled out its schedule for the 2024 convention this week, which runs from July 25–28. For the first time since 2019, Sdcc will unfold without a virtual event, pandemic protocols or labor strike cancelations, marking a return to normal of sorts for the largest annual fan gathering in North America.

Several major franchises will make an appearance at the event, including panels for Marvel Studios, “Star Trek,” “The Penguin,” “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” the “Walking Dead” franchise, “Transformers One,” “Alien: Romulus,” “The Boys” and “Doctor Who.” Here are the highlights, with descriptions from Sdcc and/or the panel sponsors. It’s time for Teenage Mutant Ninja Fans to shell-ebrate as Outright Games has announced the release date for the latest entry in the Mutant Mayhem universe, and it’s shaping up to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane.

Revealed yesterday with an exciting trailer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed promises to deliver the classic Tmnt action we all know and love, with a fresh coat of paint inspired by the recent animated film.

A Blast from the Past with a Modern Twist

The trailer instantly transports us back to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise’s glory days, with its vibrant, comic-inspired art style and the iconic quartet of mutant brothers: Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey.

The game looks to capture the upbeat, lighthearted tone that made the early games in the series such a joy to play, while also incorporating elements from the Mutant Mayhem universe.

Paramount+ returns to San Diego Comic-Con with unforgettable panels from fan-favorite series and franchises, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes conversations and reveals fans won’t want to miss. Exclusive: Paramount+ is thundering into San Diego Comic-Con with its new animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, all things Star Trek, and the upcoming Showtime series Dexter: Original Sin.

In addition, the studio’s The Lodge is taking over the Gas Lamp district again with several fan experiences and activations for movies and series such as If, Tulsa King, Ghosts, Criminal Minds: Evolution, and SpongeBob Squarepants.

The Paramount Passport will also be available again this year, inviting attendees to participate in a city-wide digital scavenger hunt to earn limited edition prizes.

Paramount+ is all set to launch Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a spin-off of the 2023 film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Based on the legacy franchise Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or Tmnt, created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, the highly-anticipated series will bring back the fan-favorite band of brothers Donatello, Michaelangelo, Leonardo, and Raphael, in another epic adventure. Christopher Yost and Alan Wan serve as the executive producers and showrunners for the all-new streaming series. In Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey face new threats as they emerge from the sewers and onto the streets of the Big Apple. With old allies, the four mutant turtle siblings will set out on another series of misadventures as they try to save the city from a new nemesis while also navigating teenage life in New York City.

Tmnt's iconic bandannas are swapped for oni masks in a fresh fanart redesign by Lyle Cruse (@lyle_style). Lyle's unique artistic style highlights the individuality in Leo, Donnie, Mikey, & Raph, with his oni mask designs only adding to this idea. This visually stunning redesign makes a case for the Turtles to officially sport oni masks in a comic adaptation.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are reptilian heroes who protect their city to the best of their abilities by utilizing their signature weapons to ensure the criminals they face think twice about breaking the law. Netflix Announces Premiere for Zack Snyder’s “Twilight of the Gods”

The gods are smiling down at Netflix, where Zack Snyder’s highly anticipated “Twilight of the Gods” has set its premiere date.

The all-new Norse mythology-centered animated series from the “Rebel Moon” director is set in “a mythical world of great battles, great deeds, and great despair” where the mortal king Leif is saved on the battlefield by the iron-willed warrior Sigrid, with whom he falls in love. On their wedding night, they survive a wrath of terror from Thor that ends them and a crew of crusaders on a mission for vengeance.

The first full trailer for Paramount+'s 2D animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem spin-off series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is now online, and it brings us up to speed with the fun-loving Heroes in a Half-Shell following the events of the critically-acclaimed movie.

The teaser reveals that Leo, Mikey, Raph and Donnie will actually be flying solo at the start of the series, and we will likely follow them on individual adventures before they regroup to face off against a new villain who goes by the name of Bishop.

Based on the moniker, there's a good chance this is a new take on Earth Protection Force Agent John Bishop, who debuted in the 2003 animated series.

Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Episode 2 opened tensely, allowing us to see the emotions and turmoil a prison sentence takes on prisoners and their families.

Between the panning camera and the ominous music, we knew something was up. They sure seemed pretty interested in that bag of potato chips.

To see a dead convict on the ground didn't give much of a surprise.

More like another one bites the dust. This show sure seems to have a lot of people dying behind bars.

Mike sees the prisoner's death as what it is and tries to warn Bunny off making money moves.

But in a typical criminal move, Bunny doesn't give Af.

And Iris's behavior as she got pulled over is troubling, to say the least.
