Richard Troche is a New York based filmmaker. Raised in the South East Section of the Bronx in New York City, he grew up listening to and being inspired by the films and music of the late 1970's and later.
In the 1990s Richard had a successful Pop/Dance Record called "Moving On" that received rave reviews by Billboard Columnist Larry Flick.
With still a burning passion for cinema, Richard went and took courses in Acting at HB Studios in the 1980s.
With a void for his stories and voice to the world; Richard at 45 went back to school and studied Screen Writing, Digital Film Making, Cinematography and Editing at School for Visual Arts and Documentary Film Making at Downtown Community Television Center.
Richard is slated to direct his first feature film Bronx River and Prelude to a Dream.
