Daniel Poler is an internationally acclaimed Venezuelan / Panamanian film director, writer, and editor. He gained recognition working as a local producer on a comedy travel show, "Next Stop for Charlie," distributed by Showtime Channel. In 2015, he made the move to New York City to explore the advertising industry. In New York, Daniel made a name for himself by directing numerous fashion videos for renowned brands such as Prada, Saks Fifth Avenue, Carolina Herrera, Jason Woo, Marchesa, Viktor & Rolf, Goop, among others. His creative vision and experience in the fashion world led to his role as a senior video director and editor at Condé Nast Entertainment. Over the years, he has crafted captivating content for esteemed brands like Vogue, The New Yorker, Vanity Fair, W magazine, Wired, GQ, Glamour, and more. He had the honor to work at The Met Gala for multiple years and attend the Oscars in 2022.
Recently, Daniel showcased his versatility by directing his first fiction feature film titled "ESPINA," which drew inspiration from the life of his best friend, as documented in his praised documentary "Tuesco" for The New Yorker. His commitment to storytelling extends beyond traditional formats as he continues to pursue his passion as an auteur filmmaker, working on personal feature films, screenplays, and documentaries.
