Beginning April 1, everybody with a Peacock subscription will be able to stream Nobody. After his home gets invaded by burglars who steal his daughter's kitty cat bracelet, Hutch reveals that he was formerly a government-trained assassin. In 2021, Nobody turned Bob Odenkirk from Saul Goodman to an action superstar and surprised quite a few people. Directed by Ilya Naishuller and written by John Wick screenwriter Derek Kolstad, Nobody tells the story of suburban dad Hutch Mansell, who had earlier spent his life in C.I.A., then settled down to live in the normal world.

The story of a supposedly ordinary family man revealing his assassin skills was loved by many. Nobody became a sleeper hit, and its tightly packed 92-minute runtime, along with incredible fight choreography, pushed Bob Odenkirk’s name as an action franchise star.

With a firearm in one hand, Hutch has his face covered in blood, most likely coming from someone else. Exclusive: Before filming got underway last month on action film The Beast, Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger) came aboard as director, taking over from the previously announced James Madigan (The Meg second unit director).

The team is halfway through an eight-week shoot in Madrid and Spain’s Canary Islands. As we previously revealed, Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction), Joel Kinnaman (Suicide Squad) and Guy Burnet (Oppenheimer) are starring.

The project had been due to start in early September but was pushed back a little due to LED stages needing further tech prep, we’re told. No reason was given for Madigan’s exit.

Bob Odenkirk is reprising his role as mild-mannered family man who is secretly a former government assassin. The call sheet also includes Connie Nielsen, Sharon Stone, Christopher Lloyd and Colin Hanks.

Indonesian filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto, known for his horror and action fare such as May the Devil Take You and segments of the V/H/S installments, is directing the feature that is currently in production in Winnipeg.

Odenkirk is reprising his role as the mild-mannered family man who is secretly a former government assassin. As of yet, plot details have not been revealed, Stone will be the piece’s chief villain.

Filmmaker Timo Tjahjanto takes the helm on the sequel. Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Odenkirk and Umair Aleem have penned the screenplay.

Nobody was one of the biggest action cinema treats of 2021. Boasting one of the best fight sequences of that year, a sequel has been in the works ever since.

The first film followed Bob Odenkirk as former assassin Hutch, who attracts the ire of a gang boss after he injures his son in the aforementioned beating.

Odenkirk suffered severe health problems in the years since, he had a heart attack and subsewuently had stents fitted. Thankfully, he came through it and is onboard for the sequel, along with returning writer Derek Kolstad. Odenkirk and Kolstad wrote the script with Aaron Rabin and Umair Aleem.
