Exclusive: CNBC is building its own Dick Wolf block after ordering a new true-crime docuseries from the Law & Order creator.
The network has commissioned Blood & Money, a series that is produced by Wolf Entertainment, Universal Television Alternative Studio and Alfred Street Industries.
The series is a ripped from the headlines unscripted series that features real stories, real people and real investigations of greed and murder, told through Wolf’s lens.
Featuring a narrator and the iconic “Dun-Dun that Wolf often employs in his scripted series, the ten-part series spotlights the detectives and prosecutors as they follow the money and pursue justice. It explores the stories of the most infamous financial scandals that ended in bloodshed including billionaire Robert Durst, the Menendez brothers, notorious mother-son grifters Sante and Kenneth Kimes Jr. and con artist Clark Rockefeller.
The series will launch on March 7 at 10pm, after a new episode of Wolf’s own Cold Justice.

Natalie Morales will be a correspondent for CBS News, with duties that will include the true crime series 48 Hours.
Morales continues to co-host The Talk.
She joined CBS last year after 22 years at NBC News. She had served as the west coast anchor of Today, correspondent on Dateline. She also had a tenure as host of Access, co-host of Access Live and news anchor of Today, as well as co-hosting the show’s third hour. “The Favourite” director Yorgos Lanthimos is set to direct and executive produce a limited series for Searchlight Television based on Mark Seal’s nonfiction book “The Man in the Rockefeller Suit: The Astonishing Rise and Spectacular Fall of a Serial Imposter.” The adaptation will center around the man known as Clark Rockefeller, who posed as a member of the famed family as part of a decades-long con game that came crashing down in 2008 after he kidnapped his daughter (Via Deadline).

The duo have inked a two-year overall deal with 20th TV and its cable/digital division, Fox 21 TV Studios. Under the new pact, Turner and Klein will continue to develop new projects for network, cable and streaming services.
