On top of the season finales of Prime Target and Severance season 2 in March 2025, Apple TV+ has a big month ahead with the premieres of three new shows. Between Apple TV+ and the rest of the streaming services, including all of the excellent new Netflix shows coming in March, there's no shortage of content to add to your watch list as other shows wrap up.

Once you finish watching Prime Target on March 5, Severance season 2 on March 21, and Mythic Quest season 4 on March 26, Apple TV+ will have three new shows ready to add to your list while continuing to watch Surface season 2. There's a gripping crime drama, a star-studded comedy set in Hollywood, and a companion series to one of the aforementioned hit series.

Let's dig a little deeper and learn more about the exciting new shows premiering on Apple TV+ in March 2025, beginning below with crime two-hander Dope Thief.

The project is headlined by Spencer Grammer, who voices Summer Smith in Rick and Morty, and Ajay Naidu, who starred in Office Space.

Filmed at Market Block Books, an independent bookstore in Troy, New York this week, the pilot follows cancelled author Wren Wild (Grammer) as she leads a quirky crew willing to do anything to keep their bookstore alive. Naidu plays her silent partner Murry, a former book agent who has no idea what he’s doing.

The pilot comes from director Micah Khan, who recently made his feature directorial debut with The Zombie Wedding, producer Victoria Diana and cinematographer Adam Muro with Tim Cahill, Kristina Libby and Patrick Regan of 7th Draft Productions exec producing.

The horror comedy “Under Wraps 2”, directed by Alex Zamm, the sequel to “Under Wraps” (2021), stars Malachi Barton, Christian J. Simon, Sophia Hammons, Phil Wright, Melanie Brook, T.J. Storm, Rryla McIntosh, Jordan Conley and Adam Wylie is now streaming on the Disney Channel:

Premiering on October 25, 1997, Under Wraps was the inaugural Disney Channel Original Movie. The cornerstone of the network’s programming proved to be as close to appointment viewing as it got for ‘90s kids, along with the likes of ABC’s Tgif and Nickelodeon’s Snick. Moreover, Under Wraps served as a gateway to horror for many millennials. Before the age of streaming, catching a mummy movie on the same channel where you watched Disney cartoons and Boy Meets World reruns could have been your first exposure to the macabre.

Disney attempted to recapture the magic with last year’s Under Wraps remake. The original movie was successful — and continues to hold up 25 years later — for several reasons; relatable kid leads, a great Halloween atmosphere, and a sense of humor chief among them. Director/co-writer Alex Zamm and co-writer William Robertson (Inspector Gadget 2) smartly maintained those elements for the new iteration.

Released in 1997, the Disney Channel Original Movie Under Wraps got a modern remake this past Halloween, and Under Wraps 2 is coming to the Disney Channel this year.

Disney Channel is getting spooky season started early with the premiere of its next original movie Under Wraps 2.

A sequel to 2021’s Under Wraps, which itself was a remake of the first-ever Disney Channel Original Movie from 1997, is set to premiere on Sunday, Sept. 25, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Exclusive: Grindstone Entertainment Group has claimed worldwide rights to Winterstate Entertainment’s musical comedy Summertime Dropouts, ahead of its October 26 virtual premiere benefitting The Boys & Girls Clubs of America, with plans to release it next year.

The film centers on three best friends in a pop-punk band, who compete against rivals Late for Curfew and Half Past Midnight to play at the very last Vans Warped Tour. It watches as they discover that the road to fame isn’t an easy journey between work, school, and relationships.

Summertime Dropouts stars up-and-comers including Nicholas Podany, Crystal Lake Evans, Caleb Donahoe, Melanie Brook, Takaya Abdou Lloyd, Serena Laurel, and Josh Richards, marking the film debut of the latter social influencer. Pic also features an appearance by a Warped Tour mainstay—pop-punk band, Simple Plan.

Shooting has started on the music drama “Summertime Dropouts,” centered on three best friends who are inspired to form a pop-punk band to play at the Vans Warped Tour.

Rock band Simple Plan is aboard to appear in the film and recently wrapped their work on location in Minnesota. The band played at the 2010 Winter Olympics closing ceremony and performed at the Vans Warped Tour every year from 1999 to 2005, and again in 2011, 2013, 2015, and 2018.

Cast of “Summertime Dropouts” consists of up-and-coming performers Nicholas Podany, Crystal Lake Evans, Caleb Donahoe, Melanie Brook, Takaya Abdou Lloyd, and Serena Laurel.
