Ryan Ali is a fast-rising actor captivating audiences with his unique blend of cultural influences, having immigrated from Syria to Canada twice - as a child, then as a young adult.
While he would first go on to study Civil Engineering at Concordia University, Ryan's passion and commitment to acting quickly took over, and he ultimately left his program and moved to Toronto to pursue an acting career full time.
His first big break came when he was cast opposite Salma Hayek and Alexander Skarsgard in Kim Nguyen's feature film The Hummingbird Project. The film, which follows a pair of high-frequency traders who go up against their old boss in an effort to make millions, made its world premiere at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
Since then, Ryan has amassed a significant body of work on major film and television productions including Ascension (Syfy/Netflix), 19-2 (Bravo/CTV), The Detectives (CBC) and Foundation (Apple TV+).
Most recently, Ryan landed two of his biggest roles to date - first as the titular lead in the new feature film Queen Tut, where he stars opposite Alexandra Billings, and also as a Series Regular on the second season of the highly acclaimed medical drama series SkyMed (Paramount+/CBC).
