Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt, right here on Nerdly. Let’s get straight into it and see what went down in this Ecw-themed episode that was filmed at the legendary 2300 Arena…
Match #1: Hardcore Match – Jaida Parker def. Lola Vice The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Jaida Parker sent a message to all of Nxt by going to the extreme against Lola Vice in a Hardcore Match. The two Superstars launched an all-out assault on each other with a host of weapons, culminating in Parker nailing a Teardrop off a ladder through another ladder, but it wasn’t enough to put Vice away. Vice rallied and smashed a trashcan onto Parker, beating her with precision strikes as well as a kendo stick before hitting a hip attack. The former Mma star locked in a tight guillotine, but Parker nailed her with a brick before hitting a...

Welcome to this review of the latest Nxt premium live event, Halloween Havoc, right here on Nerdly. Last year was two weeks of special Nxt epsiodes but we’ve switch back to a Ple/PPV format for this one, so let’s get straight into it and see what went down…
Match #1: Nxt North American Championship Tables, Ladders and Scares Match – Tony D’Angelo def. Oba Femi The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The North American Championship remains with Tony D’Angelo after a remarkable show of courage and unity from The D’Angelo Family. The Don was a man possessed to begin Halloween Havoc as he attacked The Ruler before the bell, knocking him to the outside before crushing him through the barricade with a rib-cracking Spear. A determined Femi powered through the pain and unleashed a hellacious attack on D’Angelo using steel chairs and ladders to crush...

Match #1: Stephanie Vaquer def. Wren Sinclair The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The hype is real as Nxt’s newest sensation Stephanie Vaquer shined in her debut against Wren Sinclair. The No Quarter Catch Crew Superstar did her best to keep up, but the vicious offense from The Dark Angel was as brutal as it was impressive, allowing Vaquer to win comfortably. After the match, Nxt Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade launched on sneak attack on Vaquer, prompting Giulia to save her.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Gentleman’s Duel – Lexis King def. Oro Mensah The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Lexis King proved he could win fair and square by defeating Oro Mensah in a Gentleman’s Duel.

Match #1: Nxt Women’s North American Championship – Kelani Jordan def. Wren Sinclair The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Women’s Nxt North American Championship remains with Kelani Jordan after an incredible battle against Wren Sinclair. Sinclair showed off her mat skills that were honed by her No Quarter Catch Crew teammates Tavion Heights, Myles Borne and Heritage Cup Champion Charlie Dempsey, and it paid off in spades for her. Jordan showed incredible heart by overcoming a rib injury that she suffered in the match, and evened the odds by ducking out of the way of a Sinclair splash that accidentally hit Borne and Heights. The champion followed that up with a swift kick to the head and her signature Split-Legged Moonsault to retain her title.

Match #1: The Street Profits vs. Nathan Frazer & Axiom (No Contest) The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Street Profits return to Nxt ended in disaster when The Bloodline made their first ever trip to Nxt to take out their SmackDown rivals. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins electrified the Nxt Universe and kept the champions on their toes, nearly winning the match on several occasions. The Street Profits seemed to have the match won, but Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu appeared and laid out all four Superstars, sending a message that they are dangerous everywhere they go.

No Mercy is back on the WWE’s black and gold brand – a pay-per-view which started back in 1999, right here in the UK! With that being said, let’s see what went down on the second Nxt: No Mercy…
Match #1: Nxt Tag Team Championship – Nathan Frazer & Axiom def. Chase U The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Former Nxt Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom brought Andre Chase and Ridge Holland’s title reign to a screeching halt. After Axiom hit the Spanish Fly on Chase off the top rope, Frazer took to the air with the Phoenix Splash follow up to help the self-proclaimed “Fraxiom” once again claim the gold. Immediately after the bell, an enraged Holland shocked the Nxt Universe when he suddenly attacked Chase U and drove Chase into the announce table.
My Score: 3.5 out of 5 Match #2: Zach Wentz def. Wes Lee The following is courtesy of wwe.

Match #1: Nathan Frazer and Axiom def. Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Former Nxt Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom earned a championship opportunity by defeating Andre Chase and Ridge Holland’s teammates Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne. Frazer and Axiom’s textbook high-flying offense, highlighted by Frazer’s Falcon Arrow, set the stage for Axiom to pin Osborne. With the win, the team known as “Fraxiom” will officially challenge Chase U for the Nxt Tag Team Title at No Mercy.

Match #1: Nxt Heritage Cup Match – Charlie Dempsey def. Tony D’Angelo The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Nxt Heritage Cup is back in the No Quarter Catch Crew after Charlie Dempsey dethroned Tony D’Angleo in a five round classic. D’Angelo scored the first fall in round thanks to a huge twisting Fisherman Suplex, but Dempsey evened the score thanks to a smooth roll up in round four. The action broke down in round five with Myles Borne and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo taking each other out, but it was Wren Sinclair that proved to be the difference maker as she knocked The Don off the top rope, allowing Dempsey an opening to score the winning fall.

Match #1: No. 1 Contender to Nxt Title Battle Royal – Winner: Je’Von Evans The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
The Young Og punched his ticket to Nxt Heatwave by outlasting twenty four other Superstars to win the No. 1 Contender Battle Royal. Competitors came far and wide, including SmackDown’s Tyler Bate and Apollo Crews, as well as Tna’s Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian. Bodies flew, chaos reigned, and the field slowly whittled to just Kazarian, SmackDown’s Dragon Lee, Je’Von Evans, and Shawn Spears. Lee didn’t realize that Spears was still a legal competitor as the electrifying luchador was tossed off the top rope to the outside. With just Evans and Spears left, The Young Og proved that he’s worthy...

Match #1: Michin def. Tatum Paxley The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Michin is one step closer to making history as she defeated Tatum Paxley in a Women’s Nxt North American Championship Qualifying Match. Before the bell could even ring, both Superstars battled it out as Paxley tried to grab the newly unveiled title from the grasp of rapper Sexyy Red, and Michin didn’t take kindly to the disrespect. Michin looked as impressive as ever as she hit a huge dive to the outside as well as a devastating pounce, but the resilient Paxley absorbed every big shot and came just seconds away from winning the match herself. Welcome to this week’s Nxt review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have more weird stuff from Nxt.
Match #1: Nikki Cross def. Mercedes Martinez The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Nikki Cross and her brand of chaos opened this week’s Nxt, but this time Nxt’s Twisted Sister engaged in a fierce battle against former Mae Young Classic competitor Mercedes Martinez, who recently put on a classic against Meiko Satomura in the tournament’s Second Round. Stepping inside the yellow ropes this week, The Latina Sensation carried that same energy, along with presenting a massive hurdle for Nxt’s Twisted Sister.
In a true battle of brute force and unhinged aggression, the two brawlers vigorously (and visibly) pushed each other to their limits. When Cross attempted a sleeper hold, Martinez thrust her into the turnbuckle. When Martinez locked in a suffocating guillotine,...

Match #1: Dakota Kai def. Aliyah The following is courtesy of WWE.com:
Dakota Kai isn’t the only Superstar in the Nxt Women’s division with newfound confidence. On the heels of her loss to Kairi Sane two weeks ago, Kai’s opponent, Aliyah, looked dangerously aggressive as she battled The Captain of Team Kick. Though Kai plastered The Cat’s Meow with stomps and kicks from every angle, including consecutive facewashes in the corner, Aliyah remained resilient. She displayed plenty of bad attitude, too, yanking Kai to the canvas by her hair and calling Kai “stupid.” Aliyah’s hubris, caught up to her, however, and as she prematurely celebrated her success, Kai tripped her up and hit her with a flipping backbreaker to score the pin.
