Hulu has released the official trailer and key art for Spellbound Season 2, which will continue the whimsical series from the creators of Find Me in Paris. All 13 episodes of the second season will premiere on Friday, October 11.
In Spellbound Season 2, Cece starts her second year with a vow to leave behind all magic so she can focus solely on dance. But as her Mystic side has been unlocked, secrets of the past are revealed, and she ends up on an adventure of self-discovery.
And when she befriends a new student who is actually a Mystic, it’s magical mayhem all the way! With ballet at its core, this season sees her pushing the boundaries more than ever before to fulfill her dream of becoming an etoile.
Cece also has a new crush, new friends, and a surprise from a familiar face when a Blok hip-hop challenge ignites and bonds the second division.

John Cleese on the set of ‘The Naked Wanderer’
When Callan Durlik wrote the character of a media mogul in romantic comedy The Naked Wanderer, he thought of John Cleese but doubted the Fawlty Towers star would be gettable.
With the enthusiasm of a first-time feature writer-producer, Durlik sent a synopsis to Cleese, who then asked to see the script.
Two days later Cleese was in. The Perth-based writer subsequently spent two days with the Englishman in his London office, workshopping lines and bouncing ideas.

After playing a detective who gets absolutely pummeled trying to investigate brutal crimes, it must be a fun change of pace to step behind some turntables. Netflix is giving Idris Elba the chance to do just that in “Turn Up Charlie.”
In addition to a March release date, Netflix also released the first look at the upcoming eight-part comedy, which features Elba as a down-on-his-luck DJ who helps babysit for a dear friend’s daughter. Tristram Shapeero — who’s worked as a director on a number of recent comedy classics, from “Community” to “Parks and Recreation” — will direct the first half of the season, while Matt Lipsey will take the second half.
“Luther” Season 5 may have already premiered to series-high ratings, but “Turn Up Charlie” will give Elba a chance to show off his comedy chops, which he showed most recently in last year’s SKy1 comedy “In the Long Run.

"You were born to protect us." Fox has unveiled the first official trailer for Tim Burton's latest film, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, adapted from Ransom Riggs' best-selling novel of the same name. This film feels a bit like Tim Burton's X-Men, featuring numerous children with special powers living in a home for the gifted. Eva Green plays Miss Peregrine, who oversees the "home for peculiar children". Samuel L. Jackson plays the villain known as Barron. This first trailer introduces most of the ensemble cast, including Asa Butterfield, Lauren McCrostie, Pixie Davies, Cameron King, twins Thomas & Joseph Odwell, Allison Janney, Judi Dench and Ella Purnell. I'm certainly intrigued! This looks fun. Here's the first trailer for Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, from YouTube: When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans different worlds and times, he finds Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.

Back in March, 20th Century Fox released the first trailer for their upcoming adaptation Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, based on the beloved book by Ransom Riggs. We haven't seen anything else from this adaptation since then, but today we have eight new posters, which give us a closer look at the main characters. With the movie set for release on September 30, the second trailer is hopefully just around the corner.
These posters debuted on Twitter, featuring Eva Green as Miss Peregrine, Asa Butterfield as Jake, Ella Purnell as Emma, Cameron King as Millard, Lauren McCrostie as Olive, The Odwell Brothers as The Peculiar Twins, Pixie Davies as Bronwyn and Samuel L. Jackson as Barron. We'll have to wait and see if posters are released for the rest of the cast members, including Allison Janney, Finlay MacMillan, Justin Davies, O-Lan Jones and Cameron Greco. It's possible that this adaptation...

Here’s the full lineup of the peculiar children, each endowed with unusual skills or powers. “I was a little worried about working with so many kids again,” Burton told Empire Magazine, “but they were all such professionals on set. You would never believe that it was some of these kids’ first big film.”
Pixie Davies plays little Bronwyn Buntley. Georgia Pemberton from London (represented by Bwh) plays Fiona Frauenfeld. Finlay MacMillan (represented by Bwh) plays "Dead Raiser" Enoch O'Connor. Milo Parker (represented by Bwh) plays Hugh Apiston. Lauren McCrostie (represented by United Agents) plays Olive. Raffiella Chapman (represented by Curtis Brown) is Claire Densmore. "It' a weird family." Burton gets back to being weird with his next film, titled Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, adapted from a series of young adult books about "bizarre tales and photos of levitating girls and invisible boys." Now we get to see some of those bizarre photos about a peculiar family, with a few first look shots revealed for the film arriving in theaters this fall. The cast includes Eva Green, Allison Janney, Judi Dench, Ella Purnell, Asa Butterfield, plus the kids: Lauren McCrostie, Pixie Davies, Cameron King, plus twins Thomas and Joseph Odwell. I like invisible kid the most. Meet them below. Tim Burton may have had more misses than hits in the past decade, but there's no denying that he's a director that leaves his fingerprints on the his movies. Even if you hated Alice In Wonderland (which many did, with relish), there was no denying that it was a product of Tim Burton's direction. His creepy, gothic, and otherworldy imagery is something that's gone on to impact audiences worldwide and inspire countless other creatives. It's a style that's a great fit for certain projects, and when it comes to young adult novel adaptations, I can't think of a greater fit for him than Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar children.
"Weird kids: It’s something that I’ve dealt with and been interested in for a while,” director Tim Burton said when speaking about the film with Entertainment Weekly.

Back in November, Screenterrier reported on the casting of Asa Butterfield as lead role Jacob, and Ella Purnell as Peculiar Child Emma Bloom, joining Eva Green in Tim Burton's Peregrine's Home For Peculiars, based upon the best-selling novel 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' by Ransom Riggs.
The unforgettable, thrilling and haunting tale centers on 16-year-old Jacob (played by Asa Butterfield), who follows clues that take him to a mysterious island, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he discovers that its former occupants were far more than peculiar; they possessed incredible powers. And they may still be alive.
