A streaming soap opera that is addictive due to its bingeable format, glossy production, and high-stakes twists and turns.

It may not be high-brow, but this Veronica West creation gets the job done.

Apple TV+ entered into the streaming game pretty late, but because of the quality of their originals, they are quickly becoming everybody’s favorite. After the success of shows like Ted Lasso and Slow Horses, the Apple-owned streaming service shows no signs of slowing down. It releases new brilliant TV shows and movies every month to expand its impressive content library. So, here are the best new movies and shows coming to Apple TV+ in February 2025.

Love You to Death Season 1 (February 5) Credit – Apple TV+

Love You to Death is an upcoming Spanish romantic comedy-drama series created by Dani de la Orden. The Apple TV+ series follows Raúl, a cautious young man who is diagnosed with heart cancer and dumped by his girlfriend. He soon reconnects with his free-spirited childhood friend Marta, who just found out that she is pregnant.

Surface is returning for its second season early next year. Apple TV+ renewed the drama for eight episodes in December 2022, but its return was delayed due to the industry strikes of 2023.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Stephan James, Ari Graynor, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, François Arnaud, and Millie Brady star in the thriller series. It follows a woman trying to piece her life together after she suffers a traumatic brain injury. Season two is set in London.

First images for Surface season 2 have revealed new details about Apple TV+'s psychological thriller, including when new episodes get released. Season 1 of the mystery series followed Gugu Mbatha-Raw's Sophie Ellis, a young woman trying to piece together her missing memories after a mysterious injury.

Now, Deadline has released new images from Surface season 2, teasing what's next for the Apple TV+ psychological thriller series. This includes Sophie alongside new images of other characters from the series, including what appears to be James (Oliver Jackson-Cohen) sporting a new look, Eliza (Millie Brady), and a new character, Grace (Freida Pinto). Alongside these images, it was announced the show will come back for eight episodes starting Friday, February 21, 2025, releasing new episodes weekly until April 11. Check out the new images below:

After very little updates when it comes to the premiere date of Surface season 2 starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Apple TV+ recently revealed a release window to tide us over. And now, things get even better! We officially know exactly when the psychological thriller returns and even have some first-look images to go along with it.

Surface season 2 premieres Friday, Feb. 21, 2025 with the first episode on Apple TV+. One new installment from the 8-episode season will be released weekly until the finale on Friday, April 11, 2025. This is the same episode count as the first season. We shared the release schedule below:

Our own reviewer Alex Maidy wasn’t very impressed by the Apple TV+ thriller series Surface – you can read his 5/10 review at This Link – but Apple TV+ went ahead and ordered a second season of the show… and now Deadline has revealed that Surface season 2 has been given a premiere date of Friday, February 21st. The new season will consist of eight episodes, released on a weekly basis through April 11th. A batch of first look images have also been unveiled. Surface, fans. We have some good news for you! The last time we saw a new episode of the psychological thriller starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw was in September 2022 on Apple TV+. Only a few months later in December that year, the streamer announced that it had renewed the show for a season 2. However since then, we've been waiting to see what comes next in the complicated life of Sophie/Tess. Well, we finally have an update.

Real-world misgivings about Big Pharma, experimental medicines, and scientific ethics fuel this Irish horror movie where human lab-rats must follow one important rule: don’t fall asleep.
