Can we talk about Kathryn Hahn? The “WandaVision” alum will play iconic female comedian Joan Rivers in an upcoming limited series that is in development at Showtime.
“The Comeback Girl” will be executive produced by Hahn and Greg Berlanti, who will also direct. Cosmo Carlson will write and executive produce. The project was shepherded by Atlas Entertainment President Richard Suckle, Vice President Robert Amidon and Carlson.
The series will chart Rivers’ rise following the cancelation of her short-lived late-night talk show on Fox, “The Late Show.” The show’s cancelation coincided with Rivers’ husband Edgar Rosenberg’s death by suicide. Rosenberg was a producer on “The Late Show.”

Snoop Dogg and his Snoopadelic Films banner have signed on to executive produce a Sherlock Holmes reimagining in the works at Alcon Television.
Adapted from the series of crime novels by Joe Ide, “Iq” centers on Isaiah Quintabe, a brilliant 26-year old African American private eye from East Long Beach whose local reputation earned him the nickname Iq. Isaiah’s Watson is Juanell Dodson, a semi-reformed East Side Crip who re-enters Iq’s life with a big payday case.

Video game publisher Ubisoft is teaming up with Atlas Entertainment to develop a live-action pirate drama series based on its upcoming action title “Skull & Bones,” it announced on this week.
“Skull & Bones” is expected to launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One sometime in 2019-2020. The game takes place at the end of the Golden Age of Piracy and lets players customize their own ships, sail the Indian Ocean, and wage naval combat in both solo and co-operative gameplay.
Ubisoft Film and Television hasn’t revealed any details about the series except that it will feature a female lead.
