"What would you do if you had superpowers?" This is a question that's been asked by science-fiction and comic book buffs, but Netflix took it to a whole new level with the 2020 blockbuster Project Power. Written by Mattson Tomlin and directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, Project Power tracks the rise of a mysterious drug named "Power" that grants superhuman abilities to whoever ingests it. Teenager Robin (Dominique Fishback) is dealing Power, but soon gets caught up in a conspiracy that involves police officer Frank Shaver (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and the mysterious Art (Jamie Foxx), who is seeking the source of Power. The end result is a movie that's both action-packed and is one of the few Netflix original movies to live up to its promise, or at the very least be more than something to put on while the viewers fold laundry.

The Transformers are known for being robots in disguise, with their typical alternate modes being cars and similar vehicles. Now, the latest form they're taking are two classic cars associated with another toy line.

Via TFW2005, recently revealed at a toy show, the upcoming Hot Wheels x Transformers figures are more than meets the eye like never before. Based on two cars from the line's history, these new toys are stylish to the max, sporting fresh chrome with a clean sheen. While an exact release date and price point have yet to be revealed, the Transformers franchise is about to learn that it's not the same without the flame.

Hot Wheels and Transformers Roll Out With...

Keke Palmer, Taraji P. Henson, Cynthia Erivo, and Teyana Taylor were among the many stars at the 2025 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards on Thursday afternoon (February 27) at Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The annual event, which had the “Scene and Unseen” theme this year, honored Cynthia, Teyana, Marla Gibbs, and Raamla Mohamed. The event is “spotlighting the stories, performances, and contributions that often go overlooked, even as they shape the fabric of the entertainment industry.”
