Claire Ganshert is a film, television, and theatre actor. She has been seen on Comedy Central's Broad City and starred in multiple independent film projects, many of which she wrote and produced. Ganshert's work has been presented throughout New York City, and at festivals nationwide. Ganshert was awarded Best Actor at the New York Theater Festival and won again at the New York Odyssey Film Festival.
On stage Claire originated the role of 'Vera' in the breakout play Among the Furies (New York Theater Festival, NY Fringe Festival). She is a founding member of the women's movement collective, LAS NYC (NY Fringe Festival), and premiered at the 6th Annual C:10 Play Festival (The Collective NY). She self-produced the works of Edward Allan Baker in New York City's downtown theatre scene to raise money for The Changing Room 11, a non-profit organization that was dedicated to supporting survivors of abuse and violence. Ganshert trained and taught the Meisner Technique at Maggie Flanigan Studio in New York City, and received her BA in Theatre Performance from the University of Wisconsin.
