Marco Franco is a Brazilian-born actor, and musician of Italian, and Polish descent. He is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Hollywood, California and a professional actor since age 15.
Marco was born in Curitiba, Brazil, where he lived until his early adolescence. Marco's childhood consisted of constant artistic experimentation, including movie making, playing the piano, and dancing. When only 12, after a school project, Marco started making short movies with a classmate, who today is an extra in many films. By the age of 15, he opened a comedy group with popular comedian Afonso Padilha and did about 50 stand up comedy shows whilst still going to high school.
In 2010, Marco moved to the United States and graduated from high school in Bay City, Michigan. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he studied cinema, theater and psychology at the Los Angeles City College.
He also attended and worked at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, America's first and foremost acting school, known for its history on training Oscar-winning actors such as Grace Kelly, Anne Hathaway, Robert Redford, and Adrien Brody. In 2014, after graduating from the school at the Dolby Theatre, the home of The Oscars, Marco was invited by director Jules Aaron to perform in the restoration comedy "The Gamester" at Theater 40 in Beverly Hills. The play had a 5-week run and got raging reviews in the Hollywood Reporter, etc.
Since then, Marco goes back and forth between Brazil and Los Angeles. He's starred in American films since 2013 and has recently starred in Brazilian cinema feature films working with great names like director Bruno Barreto and renowned actors such as Larissa Manoela, Cynthia Senek, and Giovanna Rispoli.
