The revolution is about to begin in the new trailer for the final season of The Handmaid’s Tale, set to premiere April 8 on Hulu.
With the adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s novel feeling more unsettlingly prescient than ever, the new trailer finds Elisabeth Moss’ June Osborne setting out to finally take down the oppressive government of Gilead. “We’re just two lunatics going into Gilead on a wing and a prayer,” June’s husband, Luke (O-t Fagbenle) tells her at one point.
To which June replies with ferocious certainty, “They will never see us coming.

The last trailer leading up to the fifth and final season of You teases that Joe may actually get what he’s got coming. The two-minute trailer shows his past is definitely catching up with him. And when Joe declares, “At heart, I’m a normal guy,” while inside his cage, fans can only hope he remains in that cage for the remainder of his life.
The final trailer was accompanied by a new batch of season five photos.
Series star Penn Badgley believes the show’s return to New York City, where it all began, is only fitting. “My first memory of stepping into Mooney’s [in Season 1], the space felt big and new, and obviously now it just doesn’t feel that way to me. It’s very familiar, and it feels smaller, and maybe that’s just a metaphor for the whole thing,” said Badgley in an interview with Tudum.

Hello, “You.”
All eyes are on Penn Badgley‘s Joe Goldberg in the trailer for the fifth and final season of psychological thriller series.
“You” centers on Joe, a book-loving hopeless romantic with a penchant for stalking and killing the women he claims to love, as well as anyone who gets in his way. While Joe’s search for The One began in New York, it took him to Los Angeles in Season 2, then to the suffocating suburbs of San Francisco in Season 3, and then to London in Season 4.
Across the pond, Joe was thrown into a 1%-skewering whodunit that forced him finally to accept he’s not a good man — an undeniable truth he avoided for far too long as bodies piled up around him. At the season’s conclusion, Joe returned to the Big Apple with his wealthy partner Kate Galvin and a new lease on life… or so it seems.

The jig might just be up for Penn Badgley’s Joe Goldberg in the upcoming fifth and final season of “You.”
In the trailer for the new season, Joe is back in New York City thanks to Kate (Charlotte Ritchie), who, since meeting him in London, has transformed Joe’s under the radar life as he steps out at the city’s most exclusive events.
“Fame definitely took a bit of getting used to, but to live happily ever after you had to bury your old self,” Joe said in the trailer.
All that is interrupted when Joe comes face-to-face with a fresh-faced woman named Bronte (Madeline Brewer), but Joe convinces himself, “you have a great life — it’s just not worth the risk.”

If you haven't delved into the waters of You yet, you might want to check out the teaser trailer for the final season. For You fans, of which Taylor Swift is one, you know that this means Season 5. But before you check it out, here are some things you need to know.
The key actor is played by the understated yet brilliant Penn Badgley. He plays Joe Golberg who initially runs a bookstore, and cute meets an aspiring writer. He falls in love. I mean, he falls hard. So much so that he becomes the worst kind of stalker.
See, Joe doesn't just send emails but he talks to his love, Guinevere Beck, on social media. He also decides to kill anyone who gets in the way of his intentions of being with her. The thing to keep in mind is that this show is a comedy. And, well...a thriller.

‘You’ Declares Joe the ‘Luckiest Guy in New York’ in Ominous Season 5 Teaser

“You” may be coming to an end, but it’s ending with Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) on top. That’s what the first teaser for Season 5 shows: a sneak peek that ends with Joe calling himself the “luckiest guy in New York.”
True to form for this unsettling drama, not much actually happens in this first look. Joe buttons his shirt and helps his latest victim — er, girlfriend — Kate (Charlotte Ritchie) into her dress. But his internal monologue tells a very different story than the mundane machinations of getting ready.
“Love tests us. I’ve been tested more than most. This is the last time,” Joe says via monologue. “I’ve been through it all —unlucky in life and in love until I met you, Kate. You opened doors for me I never could have imagined. We share a life I would have been quick to judge in the past.

The Handmaid’s Tale has been one of the most consistent TV series to premiere in the last ten years.
Yes, it’s consistently bleak, but it’s been one of the strongest shows on the air for a long time.
The big question for me has been whether it would stick the landing because it would be a real shame if the show did not go out in a blaze of glory.

Elisabeth Moss has been a revelation in the role of June Osborne, a performance that has earned her praise, awards, and everything in between.
But The Handmaid’s Tale Season 5 indicated that June’s story was reaching its conclusion, and we likely don’t have too long to wait for answers.

The final season of “The Handmaid’s Tale” will premiere on Hulu on April 8.
Three episodes of the dystopian drama will drop at once, followed by weekly episodes until the series finale on May 27.
Elisabeth Moss’ protagonist June Osborne narrates a teaser trailer for the final season, saying, “They believed that these garments that they put on our bodies told the world who we are. To mark us, they put us in red — the color of blood. They forgot that it’s also the color of rage. The dress became our uniform, and we became an army.”
According to the Season 6 synopsis: “June’s unyielding spirit and determination pull her back into the fight to take down Gilead. Luke and Moira join the resistance. Serena tries to reform Gilead while Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia reckon with what they have wrought, and Nick faces challenging tests of character. This final chapter...

“The Handmaid’s Tale” has set a return date for its final season.
Season 6 of the Elisabeth Moss-led show is slated to debut April 8 on Hulu, the streamer announced on Wednesday. That’s just under three years after Season 5 launched on Sept. 14, 2022. Hulu also released a first teaser for this upcoming season to go along with the announcement.
“They believed that these garments that they put on our bodies told the world who we are,” Moss’ June says in the clip. “To mark us, they put us in red — the color of blood. They forgot that it’s also the color of rage.”
The video then shows scenes of handmaids holding hands and gathering in a formation. “The dress became a uniform,” June continues. “And we became an army.” The teaser then jumps between scenes of handmaids pulling out utility knives and Bradley Whitford’s Commander Joseph Lawrence leering at...

We come bearing amazing, but also bittersweet, news my fellow The Handmaid's Tale fans! The last time we had new episodes was all the way back in November 2022. So season 6 being a long wait is definitely an understatement. Though thanks to a new filming update from one of the actors, it looks like we're on track for the release window we were promised. And we have the official premiere date too!
Production has wrapped on The Handmaid's Tale season 6
O-t Fagbenle, who plays June's husband Luke, took to social media to share that filming has officially wrapped on The Handmaid's Tale season 6. He also dropped a bunch of cute photos of him with his co-stars including Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahovski, Max Minghella, and Madeline Brewer.
The cast is all hugs, cuddles, and laughs which is the complete opposite of what the show is all about. But it makes our hearts...

Regreso a Gilead en primavera. © Hulu
