Ghosts will finally return to CBS’s primetime schedule after a three-week break with an episode that finds Pete playing matchmaker. Season four episode 17, “His Girl Shiki,” will air on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 8:30pm Et/Pt.

Rose McIver stars as Sam, Utkarsh Ambudkar is Jay, Brandon Scott Jones is Isaac, and Richie Moriarty plays Pete. Apple TV+ has released a new trailer and preview images for Side Quest, the new Mythic Quest expansion series. It will make its debut on the streamer later this month.

Today, Apple TV+ unveiled the trailer for the all-new anthology series Side Quest, hailing from the same team behind the beloved, acclaimed office comedy Mythic Quest.

Set to premiere globally on Wednesday, March 26 on Apple TV+, all four episodes of Side Quest will debut alongside the season four finale of Mythic Quest.

The fourth season of “Mythic Quest” is near.

On Thursday, Apple TV+ revealed the show’s fourth season will debut with two episodes on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. New episodes will follow weekly through the season finale on Wednesday, March 26.

According to Apple, Season 4 “brings stars Rob McElhenney, Charlotte Nicdao, David Hornsby, Danny Pudi, Ashly Burch, Imani Hakim, Jessie Ennis, and Naomi Ekperigin under the same fluorescent office lights as the reunited team at Mythic Quest confronts new challenges amongst a changing video game landscape as stars rise, egos clash, relationships bloom, and everyone tries to have a little more work work-life balance.”

Memorable and underutilized supporting characters in television history. Examples include Gail the Snail in It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Mona Lisa Saperstein in Parks and Recreation. Some characters had potential for further development, while others were important to main characters' storylines but disappeared.

Ive always felt some of the best sitcom characters were often the most underutilized, and there were plenty of hilarious characters Id love to have seen more of. While I agree, theres some merit to the idea that less can be more when it came to beloved sitcom characters, and by keeping their appearances brief, the excitement whenever they appeared onscreen was be maintained. However, I cannot help feeling that some characters potential has been wasted through their limited use, and these sitcoms could have benefited from giving some of these secondary characters more time in the spotlight.

Apple TV+ has renewed “The Big Door Prize” for a second season, the streamer announced on Wednesday.

According to the official description, “The Big Door Prize” follows the story of a small town that changes after a mysterious machine appears in the local general store, promising to reveal each resident’s true life potential.

“Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head” returns to Paramount+ for its second season, beginning with two episodes on Thursday, April 20.

According to Paramount+, Beavis and Butt-Head will “triumphantly return as two guys who like things that are cool and don’t like things that suck.” Ahead of the Season 2 premiere, fans can check out “Beavis and Butt-head Do the Universe,” the 1996 movie “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America” and the remastered versions of the original MTV series all on Paramount+.

The Apple TV+ series about a team of dysfunctional video game designers spends the majority of each season as a geeky, raucous workplace comedy, but at least once per season, it switches gears completely. In one half-hour detour per year, without fail, the show morphs into a character-driven tearjerker.

Exclusive: YouTube Red has ordered a pilot for High & Tight, a baseball buddy comedy starring Sung Kang and Danny Pudi. Co-starring in the pilot, created and written by Chris Marrs, are Virginia Williams (Fuller House) as well as Bruce McGill (Family Guy) and Mircea Monroe (Episodes).

High & Tight is set in the high-stakes and high-status world of Major League Baseball and is about a young translator (Pudi) forced far beyond his comfort zone when he’s hired as the full-time interpreter-slash-babysitter for L.A.’s newly signed and ill-behaved star Korean outfielder, Ho Rang’s (Kang). His irreverent partying lifestyle throws Joe Barnes’ (Pudi) staid academic life into complete upheaval.

The creative team for Liza On Demand, the forthcoming YouTube Red series in which comedy vlogger Liza Koshy will take on a series of odd jobs in hopes of becoming an “elite tasker,” has been revealed.

Starring alongside 21-year-old Koshy are Kimiko Glenn (Nerve) and Travis Coles (By The Book), Deadline reports, while directors on the eight-episode half-hour sitcom include Todd Biermann (Alone Together), Anna Mastro (Shameless), Heath Cullens (You’re The Worst), and Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont (Josie And The Pussycats). Kaplan and Elfont also wrote the show and will serve as executive producers alongside Koshy and Courtney Carter.

Like the Tuesday comedies last week, the ABC Wednesday sitcoms take a week off as the Cma awards take their place. This feels like a much needed break from the underwhelming installments we’ve been getting as of late. With the unentertaining sitcoms unable to distract us this week, we’re able to focus and enjoy this week’s episode of It’s Always Sunny even more. Following last’s week solid season premiere, “Gun Fever Too: Still Hot” features a mass of even better moments. Operating like a “many years later” sequel to season 1′s “Gun Fever”, episode two of this season consists of The Gang getting super heated over gun control issues in Philly. The episode begins with a brilliant opening: Frank chomping down a sandwich and ranting about how more guns are needed on the streets, followed by a great scene which leads the gang to realise they’re hot about the opposite things.
