Zuri Adele

With collective liberation at the forefront of her passions, Zuri Adele is best known for her portrayal of series regular 'Malika' on the multi award-nomination Freeform series, Good Trouble. Zuri grew up co-parented from the Bay Area to Brooklyn, in a family dedicated to artistic expression, spirituality, and education. She studied acting at the British American Drama Academy, Spelman College, and UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television (TFT). Zuri has taken her studies to the stage with the Tony Award-winning Alliance Theatre, BADA in London, the Georgia Shakespeare Company, Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company, the SITI Company of New York, and more. She has taught acting at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa, UCLA's TFT, and beyond.
She established the Zuri Adele Fellowship for Historically Black College and University Alumni at UCLA's TFT, and pioneered the Be Accessible Scholarship at Modo Yoga International. Zuri is prospering and persevering in Los Angeles, where she continues to expand her acting career, lead, and curate abolitionist experiences within her communities, and love on her people, plants, and poodle.
