Seis nuevos episodios se estrenan este abril. © Netflix
El reparto de esta nueva temporada está formado por Michele Austin (Hard Truths), Ben Bailey Smith (David Brent: Life on the Road), Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Josh Finan (Say Nothing), James Nelson-Joyce (The Outlaws), Will Poulter (Guardianes de la galaxia Vol. 3...

Nearly two years have passed since Netflix debuted a new season of Black Mirror, even if it feels like much longer. The streamer has finally unveiled a trailer and new images for the upcoming seventh season, along with announcing an April 10, 2025 premiere date.
“You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” stated series creator Charlie Brooker during the 2024 Geeked Week festival. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny, and some are emotional.”
Among them is the much-anticipated sequel to one of Black Mirror‘s most popular, critically acclaimed episodes, season four’s “USS Callister.” The sequel marks the first time Brooker has ever revisited any of the previous six seasons’ episodes.

The new season of Black Mirror is said to be a return — in more ways than one. In the newly released trailer for Season 7, it looks like more than a few characters and episodes will be revisited, including the now iconic ''USS Callister" episode from Season 4. And according to series creator Charlie Brooker, this new batch of episodes will also be a return to form for fans of the darkly satirical and at-times harrowing anthology series.
Calling the forthcoming season "a little bit Og Black Mirror," Brooker noted that Season 7 — which is slated to hit Netflix on April 10, 2025, goes "back to basics in many ways. They're all sci-fi stories," a welcome change after the past few seasons have focused more on the horror aspect than anything. "There's definitely some horrifying things that occur," he added, "but maybe not in an overt horror-movie way. There's definitely some disturbing content in it.

"Black Mirror" just dropped a trailer for its seventh season, providing not only a closer look at the show's six new episodes but also their release date on Netflix.
On April 10, Netflix will drop six installments of Charlie Brooker's critically acclaimed and massively popular anthology series, and even though we already know that this season of "Black Mirror" would break tradition and return to a previous story — specifically, the beloved season 4 episode "U.S.S. Callister," which stars Cristin Milioti, Jimmi Simpson, Billy Magnussen, and more — it's still pretty exciting to see those stars reappear in this trailer. Not only that, but Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry, who appeared in the standalone interactive special "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch," also seem to show up in the trailer as their "Bandersnatch" characters Colin Ritman and Mohan Thakur. That means we may be getting another glimpse at that particular corner of the "Black Mirror" universe as well.

Black Mirror has set an official date for its return. The long-running British sci-fi anthology series premiered in 2011, running for two seasons on Channel 4 before being picked up by Netflix. Generally, each episode tells a self-contained story featuring a brand-new cast, allowing the show to feature many major stars over the years including Bryce Dallas Howard, Jon Hamm, and Anthony Mackie. The USS Callister is taking flight once again. Netflix has released the trailer and first-look images for Season 7 of Charlie Brooker’s sci-fi anthology series “Black Mirror.“
Breaking from tradition, Season 7 is the first time “Black Mirror” will revisit the characters of a previous episode: Cristin Milioti and other key characters from the standout Season 4 episode “USS Callister” continue their virtual voyage in the upcoming “Black Mirror” season. Milioti will reprise her role as Nanette Cole, a mild-mannered computer programmer who is unwittingly sucked into a video game by her boss Robert Daly (Jesse Plemons).
Though Plemons’ character was vanquished at the end of “USS Callister,” a number of characters survived, including Billy Magnussen’s Karl, Milanka Brooks’ Elena and Osy Ikhile’s Nate, all of whom will return for Season 7.
Jimmi Simpson will reprise his role as the ill-fated James Walton, a character who seemingly sacrificed himself at the...

Because the world does not feel dystopian enough, “Black Mirror” is finally releasing its Season 7 premiere date. The sci-fi anthology from Charlie Brooker will return on April 10 with six new episodes.
This new season will contain a previously announced followup to the Emmy-winning “USS Callister” starring Cristin Milioti. Fittingly, the trailer for this new season starts with Milioti’s Lieutenant Cole gasping as an unseen voice says “We’d like to welcome you back.”
The trailer then cycles between clips of wild scenarios that are never fully explained. One minute, a man is putting on a Batman mask. The next, Issa Rae is being transported into a black-and-white world filled with AI people. Still the next, Rashida Jones collapses like a powered off robot while pitching cereal in front of a class of children. You know, classic “Black Mirror” stuff.
But the most exciting part of this first trailer does...

Spoiler Alert: This post contains mild spoilers for Prime Video’s Picture This.
In the Prarthana Mohan-directed romantic comedy film Picture This, adapted from the Australian film Five Blind Dates by screenwriter Nikita Lalwani, the first snapshots of Simone Ashley’s lead character Pia Jaswani are quite chaotic.
Absorbed in her passion and profession — photography, Pia has forgotten that she has an important appointment with her mother Laxmi (Sindhu Vee) and Sonal (Anoushka Chadha). She stumbles to change clothes and rushes out the door only to loose one of her sandals in her haste to catch the bus, making quite the impression on her mom and sister, who called that she was running late.
“I think her chaos and clumsiness [were things] that I didn’t relate to as much because I think I’m much more of an organized, grounded person,” Ashley told Deadline in an interview the day after...

One year after the romantic comedy “Five Blind Dates” premiered on Prime Video, there’s already a remake landing on the same streamer. At first glance, that sort of redundancy might sound egregious, given both films are in the English language and feature the same general premise of a 29-year-old woman facing personal and professional crossroads. “Picture This,” however, more than proves it’s worth revisiting that subject. It’s rooted in the same heartrending themes about tapping into power through passion, but sets itself apart by exploring the story through the specificity of Indian culture. Sweet, silly and sincere, director Prarthana Mohan’s spin has a clear understanding of what makes its source material revelatory and resonant.
London-based photographer Pia (Simone Ashley) has always viewed life through an unconventional lens. She loves work and her independence. But her world is currently in chaos and about to get even more complicated.

Netflix’s adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s “The Sandman” will end with its upcoming second season.
“The Sandman” Season 2 has been a long time coming. The first season debuted in August 2022, and it wasn’t renewed at Netflix until November of that year. At that time, Netflix was also hesitant to label it as a second season at all, choosing instead to say it was “a continuation of ‘The Sandman’ world,” and wouldn’t commit to an episode count. Variety has confirmed the second season of “The Sandman” was intended to be the last prior to filming in 2023.

Despite the drama on his other series, Apple TV+'s The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin, Noel Fielding will return to host The Great British Bake-Off. In a new statement, the actor and host's spokesperson insisted that, despite the rumor mill churning out worry given the cancelation of Dick Turpin, Fielding "will be returning" to host the popular reality series.
Fielding's spokesperson has since issued the following statement (which we first encountered via Deadline):
There has been absolutely no discussion about Noel stepping down from 'Bake Off.' We have been in contact with Channel 4 and Love Productions throughout all the speculation and his ‘stepping down’ has never been part of that dialogue. We can confirm he will be returning to co-host the next series of 'Bake Off.'
Deadline also reported that Love Productions/Channel 4 fully anticipate the actor's return to the tent once production on...

The Completely Made-Up Adventures Of Dick Turpin was Apple TV+’s high jinks vehicle for the very best of British comedy talent, but there’s nothing whimsical about the series coming to a clattering halt this week.
Production has ceased on Season 2 of the Big Talk Studios series about an 18th-century highway robber, putting a cast and crew of hundreds out of work with nothing to show for their efforts. Filmed footage cannot be fashioned into a scaled-back season and there is no hope of getting the show back on the road, according to three sources familiar with Dick Turpin’s demise.
At the center of this highly unusual situation is Noel Fielding, the comedy’s titular character, who is also known to American viewers as the co-host of The Great British Baking Show. The star, who shot to fame in surrealist noughties comedy The Mighty Boosh, failed to return...

The Sandman‘s Morpheus… does not seem to have lightened up much in Season 2 of the Netflix drama.
To wit: TVLine’s month-long #2025FirstLook series continues with an exclusive — and intense — behind-the-scenes shot of Tom Sturridge on the set of the fantasy’s sophomore season. While we’re not exactly sure what Sturridge’s Morpheus is doing in the scene, we know a) it likely involves ancient magic, and b) whichever character the camera is standing in for might want to duck.
