Biography

Dianna Cruz is an American actress, producer, content creator and co-founder of the female-run indie film studio, Divergent House. She can be seen as 'Liz' in the feel-good teen comedy, This is the Year (2021) from executive producer, Selena Gomez and director, David Henrie now available on Hulu and Starz.

Born in California and raised in South Florida, Cruz started working as an actress and model at the age of three, booking a national Huggies commercial. She later became a familiar face promoting girl's fashions for Disney World, Target, Clarks Shoes, and Walmart in print, billboards, and commercials. She made her way back out west to pursue acting while also studying at UCLA, where she graduated with a degree in Sociology and Film Studies.

Of Filipino, Italian and Spanish descent, Cruz is very passionate in the movement towards inclusivity and diversity in Hollywood. Her mother was a first-generation immigrant from Manila, and she is determined to bring more asian and hispanic roles to the big screen.
