The cast of Bridgerton has arrived at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (February 23) at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

The stars of the Netflix hit are nominated for their third season in the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series category. In addition, Nicola Coughlan is nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series category for her performance as Penelope Featherington.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards are taking place on Sunday in downtown Los Angeles. TheWrap will update the list of winners as they are announced.

“Wicked” went into the show leading all films with five nominations, followed by “A Complete Unknown” with four and “Anora” and “Emilia Perez” with two.

In the television categories, “Shōgun” led with five nominations, followed by “The Bear” with four and “The Diplomat” and “The Penguin” with three.

Over the 30-year history of the SAG Awards, individual winners in the film categories have gone on to win Academy Awards for acting 75% of the time. All four SAG winners have repeated at the Oscars 10 times, with eight of those times coming in the last 15 years.

The winning film in the SAG Awards’ ensemble-cast category has won the Oscar for Best Picture about half the time, including the last three years in a row and four times in the last five years.

Everyone is eagerly awaiting the return of Netflix's top period drama series. Unfortunately, it will be some time before that happens, as production on the fourth season of Bridgerton is currently underway. While an official release year hasn't been confirmed, the show's showrunner expects the series to return in 2026. This may seem like a long way off, but it'll be 2026 before we know it!

Filmmaker Gus Van Sant, best known for Oscar winners “Good Will Hunting” and “Milk,” has come on board to back psychosexual thriller “Antinous,” a modern-day drama inspired by the life and death of Antinous, the gay lover of the Roman emperor Hadrian. Visual artist Stuart Sandford wrote and will direct the film, which will be his feature film debut.

“Antinous” tells the story of a present-day young actor, who becomes convinced he is the reincarnation of Antinous, sparking a psychosexual drama that bridges the grandeur of ancient Rome with Hollywood’s obsession with youth, beauty and immortality.

The first look of Éanna Hardwicke as Manchester United and Ireland soccer legend Roy Keane alongside Steve Coogan as his embattled Irish national manager Mick McCarthy, has been revealed from upcoming comedy biopic “Saipan.”

The film — first announced earlier in the year by Variety — chronicles one of the most infamous moments in Irish sporting history, when Keane and McCarthy had a very public falling out. Yerin Ha, soon to be seen in Dune: Prophecy, has joined the cast of Bridgerton season four as Sophie Baek aka the Lady in Silver. Ha will be a series regular in the upcoming season, playing a maid who catches Benedict’s eye.

Netflix offers this description of Ha’s character: “Sophie Baek has been forced to spend much of her life working as a maid for the most demanding employer in the ton. But the resourceful Sophie always finds a way to persevere through her circumstances — which will drastically change after she disguises herself to attend Violet Bridgerton’s masquerade ball and meets Benedict Bridgerton.”

Speaking with Netflix’s Tudum, Yerin Ha talked about what she loved about Sophie. “What drew me to Sophie was that she immediately has obstacles — something that she constantly has to overcome,” said Ha.

An upcoming period piece and horror film just added two stars to its call sheet. A new report from Deadline revealed that Harriet Cains and Luke Brandon Field will star in the horror movie Video Killed The Radio Star, which is set in 1979. Cains is best known for her work in Bridgerton, the Netflix original series which has been dominating streaming charts since the last four episodes of Season 3 premiered more than a month ago on June 13. As for Field, he's best known for his role in Interview with the Vampire, and has also starred in Jojo Rabbit and The Flash.

Filming is underway on Video Killed the Radio Star, a 1979-set horror film that draws inspiration from the classic song from The Buggles. Per Deadline, the film has found its stars in Luke Brandon Field (“Interview with the Vampire”) and Harriet Cains (“Bridgerton”).

Video Killed the Radio Star is directed by Brad Watson (I’ll Play Mother), story created by Ben Charles Edwards and Kirsty Bell and screenplay by Mark A. C. Brown.

It follows “a pirate radio DJ (Field) who accidentally unleashes a demonic force during his broadcast, turning the station into a battleground for humanity. As the supernatural threat spreads through the airwaves, the DJ and his assistant (Cains) must confront the horrors they’ve unleashed.”

The photos offer another look at some of the members of the ‘ton. Bridgerton returns for its third season in two parts, with Part 1 (301-304) premiering on May 13, 2024, and Part 2 (305-308) premiering on June 13, 2024.

Polin season gets underway on Bridgerton when the series returns in May, and Netflix has dropped quite the teaser to tide us over.

We’re unsure whether the clip was released to celebrate Valentine’s Day, but before you get too excited, there’s a severe lack of romance. That isn’t very Bridgerton of you, Netflix.

Instead, we see Colin (Luke Newton) getting an icy reception from Penelope (Nicola Coughlan).

The reason?

Penelope overheard the man she’d been pining for telling everyone he’d never court her.

So, she’s shocked when he dares to say he now misses her.

The Netflix series left something under the Bridgerton tree when it delivered five first-look photos at season three on Monday.

Apple TV+ Reveals First Look at Star-Studded “Palm Royale”

Apple TV+ has revealed the first look for its upcoming star-studded series “Palm Royale.” Loosely based on the novel “Mr. and Mrs. American Pie” by Juliet McDaniel, the Palm Beach-set series will follow Maxine Simmons as she tries to break into Palm Beach high society in 1969, asking the enduring question: “How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to get what someone else has?”
