Kshitij Patwardhan is an Indian screenwriter, lyricist, playwright and publisher from Mumbai.
Kshitij's latest lyrical work for the film Haseen Dillruba has earned him his maiden Hindi Filmfare nomination for best lyrics. He has written two film projects with prestigious MADDOCK films, one of which 'HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY' (dialogues and Additional Screenplay) starring Nimrat Kaur and Radhika Madan is in the shooting stage. He has also written story, screenplay and dialogues for the heart-warming drama series TAALI starring Sushmita Sen for VOOT SELECT.
11 times Filmfare award (Marathi) nominated, he has won 3, one for the screenplay, dialogue and lyrics each. Along with this, he is the recipient of the united nation population fund's national creative excellence award for social change, Zee Gaurav, Star Pravah Ratna, Tarun Tejankit and Master Dinanath Sanman given by the Mangeshkar family.
