The official Jigsaw trailer was revealed at San Diego Comic-con. Jigsaw is the eighth film in the Saw franchise and will release just in time for Halloween.

Not a lot aside from the teaser posters and trailer have been made available for fans, but it has been confirmed that Tobin Bell will appear in some capacity.

The cast also includes Mandela Van Peebles, Laura Vandervoort, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Matt Passmore, Hannah Emily Anderson, Josiah Black, Shaquan Lewis, Michael Bolsvert, and James Gomez.

In a world where there are a lot of indie filmmakers doing it wrong, it's refreshing when it's done right.

Now, I'm not talking about film quality or tired stories etc. I'm talking about old fashioned "We actually give a shit about our fans and want them to know." It's about the little things.

Running a horror website for over seven years in the red with no steady income stream generated by the site can get quite discouraging. What makes it worse is when filmmakers and producers feel they are gracing you with their film and doing you a favor by "letting you" watch their movie's, forgetting that the professional rout is to offer a screener for review consideration.

I first covered Truth or Dare back in April of 2013 when the teaser trailer for the film dropped. Now, nearly four years later, the movie has released and I’ve finally had a chance to view it.

Truth or Dare is the directorial debut of Jessica Cameron. Horror fans are most likely familiar with Cameron through her horror acting roles. This time around she’s behind the camera and the result is a pretty stellar debut feature film.

I went into The Shallows with pretty low expectations. From the trailer and key art released, it was obvious what was in store. Blake Lively in a bikini being hunted in shallow waters by a lunatic shark, and that’s what we got.

To my surprise, it actually worked. It exceeded my expectations, which I mentioned, were pretty low to begin with.

The Shallows is a survival horror thriller film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, written by Anthony Jaswinski and starring Blake Lively. In the movie, a surfer (Blake Lively), on a hiatus from medical school, becomes stranded two hundred yards from shore. She must use her smarts and conjure up the determination to survive a great white shark attack.

There are a lot of post-apocalyptic films swirling around in the wind these days. Most of them have zombies, and the genre is honestly getting a bit tired.

That being said, I'm genuinely excited about the upcoming release of Daylight's End. I've had this one on my radar ever since I watched the trailer a while back.

The film is a post-apocalyptic action horror film starring Johnny Strong and Lance Henriksen. Directored by William Kaufman and written by Chad Law.

This one promises the big guns and action, and that's what I dig about this offering -- I like things that go boom! Plus Lance Hendriksen and the entire team involved in this movie makes it one you simply don't want to miss.

Daylight's End will release in limited theaters and on VOD on Friday, August 26th. Check out the synopsis and Exclusive Trailer Premiere below.
