Raven-Symone opened up about undergoing a breast reduction surgery in her teens.

The 38-year-old actress starred on the Disney Channel hit series That’s So Raven between 2003 and 2007.

During a recent episode of her Tea Time with Raven & Miranda podcast, Raven recalled having the surgery before the show premiered.

“I had my first breast reduction at 15,” Raven said, with her wife Miranda Maday saying it was “traumatic.”

Raven continued, saying, “I was a triple D all the way down to a B.”

“Someone said I needed to do it in order to get a show,” she said when she was asked if it was her decision or if someone else recommended that she undergo the procedure.

She added that she wanted to have liposuction if they were going to do the breast reduction.

The actress noted that things are different now, saying that she was “envious as f-ck.

That's So Raven was a hit in the 2000s and launched Raven-Symon's successful career in film, music, and television. Other cast members of That's So Raven have stayed busy with acting, music, and other roles, while some have faced legal issues. The revival series Raven's Home features reprised roles from some That's So Raven cast members, and they continue to pursue their careers in acting and other creative endeavors.

Disney Channel's That's So Raven was quite a hit in the 2000s, following the girl with visions of the future that almost always went wrong, and what Raven and other cast members have been doing since the completion of the sitcom is worth taking a look. That's So Raven, a show that focused on Raven, the physic fashionista, was a career-launcher for Raven-Symon, who went on to have a successful streak in the film industry as well as in the world of music.

Raven-Symoné is defending her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday, following a social media backlash that involves internet trolls making death threats.

In a video shared on social media, the That’s So Raven star is seen with her wife calling out social media users leaving horrible comments.

“I’m here with Miranda, my wife, to tell you to stop it in the comments. And stop with the death threats in her DMs,” Symoné said in the video. “It is disrespectful to her, and in turn, disrespectful to me. Stop it.”

The backlash stems from Pearman-Maday stating she didn’t grow up watching Symoné on the Disney Channel series.

“It’s really become wild. I hope to clear the air right now and let you all know that I never have once said that I did not know who Raven was,” Pearman-Maday said. “I only ever said that I did not grow up watching That’s So Raven.

Raven-Symoné is clarifying a headline-making comment she made in 2014.

On Tuesday, the former Disney Channel star shared a new episode of her podcast Tea Time With Raven and Miranda, in which she recalled receiving hate a decade ago for telling Oprah Winfrey that she doesn’t consider herself to be “African American.”

“A lot of people on the internet thought I said that I wasn’t Black, and I never said that,” the former child star told her co-host and wife, Miranda Maday.

Raven-Symoné is opening up about a private struggle she experienced as a teenager after growing up in the spotlight. In the most recent episode of her and wife Miranda Maday’s podcast, “The Best Podcast Ever With Raven & Miranda”, the former child star revealed she underwent multiple cosmetic procedures before the age of 18.

“I had two breast reductions and lipo before I turned 18. I’ve never said it. I’ve never shared it,” Raven disclosed.

The “Cosby Show” star said that her procedures were encouraged by her father, Christopher B. Pearman.

“My dad suggested, strongly, that I should get my breasts reduced,” she said. “I was like, ‘If I get lipo, will people stop calling me fat?'”

Raven, 37, said that she “disassociated” after the surgery and suffered a seizure as a result of the procedure.
