Marianly Tejada

Marianly Tejada is a Dominican-American actor who graduated from the Stella Adler Studio of acting in New York. Shortly after graduating, Marianly booked her breakout role in the Peacock television series One Of Us Is Lying based on The New York Times best selling book by Karen M. McManus. In 2024 it was announced Marianly would be playing one the lead roles in the upcoming Netflix series Ransom Canyon, based on the book series by Jodi Thomas. Per Deadline: "Tejada plays the rough and whip-smart Ellie Estevez, who is the personification of "Do no harm, but take no sh*t," specifically from resident curmudgeon Cap (Josh Brolin), whom she looks after. Ellie's young, hungry and driven to make her mark in Ransom Canyon. She has no interest in settling down with a romantic partner, at least not yet, which is why she's a bit thrown when she crosses paths with mysterious newcomer Yancy." Born in New York and raised in the DR, Marianly is fluent in Spanish (her first language) and speaks conversational French. Standing at 5'9'', Marianly got her start in modeling where she was crowned "Miss Dominican Republic" before going on to compete in Miss World.
