During the inaugural Comic-Con: The Cruise, Fall stars Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia “Ginny” Gardner sat down to discuss their experiences in the superhero world, including their time with DC and Marvel, and their thoughts on potentially returning to the DC Universe.
Both actresses have notable roles in the superhero genre, with Currey starring in Shazam! and its sequel, while Gardner is best known for her role in Marvel’s Runaways. They shared their thoughts on working in these expansive superhero worlds and the excitement of being a part of such iconic franchises.
Currey reflected on her time in the DC Universe, mentioning her childhood connection to the iconic characters. “I grew up watching the animated series like the ‘Batman’ animated series, ‘Justice League,’ and so getting to dive into that world, especially with DC, was amazing,” she shared. “It’s pretty cool to get to exist in that same universe,...

Something very strange happened on December 6th, 2024. This was originally going to be the release date for the Lucy Hale lead F Marry Kill, but at the last minute, Lionsgate delayed the film. Only one problem: no one told the digital retailers. So on that early December day, the film was digitally released to the masses. They were able to rectify the mistake and promptly pulled it from those retailers, but the internet is forever, and copies got out there. Not exactly the most ideal way to market your movie, but any press is good press. And in a crowded December, this certainly has more room to breathe now in March. You can check out my review of the film Here.
I was fortunate enough to talk with the cast and director of F Marry Kill. I chatted with Lucy Hale about what she thought about this accidental release, and...

In a sit-down conversation with uInterview, actress Virginia Gardner shared her experience working with Lucy Hale on her new movie F- Marry Kill, an adventure-comedy that follows a true-crime obsessive as she tries to figure out which one of the three men she met on a dating app is a serial killer. Reflecting on what drew her to the role, Gardner told uInterview founder Erik Meers, “I’d never done a character like Kelly before on many different levels, so it was really fun to play with a character that I had never done anything similar to before and I love that kind of a challenge. I also love true crime and I like genre-bending movies and I like things that kind of feel really unique in that sense…and as soon as I started the script I was obsessed with who the killer was, it’s such a fun read.

When I spoke with director Laura Murphy, she revealed that “F Marry Kill” is a genre-blending film that aims to mix romcom tropes with those of murder-mystery. In the film, Lucy Hale is a recently dumped woman turning 30 who is looking for a new love. But she and her friends suspect that one of

Plot: As a serial killer targets women on dating apps, a true-crime junkie must figure out which of her three dates is a f-boy, marriage material, or is trying to kill her.
Review: The world of dating apps can be a bit scary, especially for women. You just never know when the person you’re meeting up with is actually a serial killer. It’s an intriguing launching off point for a film, so I’m not surprised to see several horror movies taking advantage of it. I’m not sure I’d quite classify F Marry Kill as a horror movie, but it certainly has elements.
F Marry Kill is really more of a rom com than anything. We follow Eva, post-breakup, as she navigates the world of online dating. She happens to be joining at a bad time, as there’s a “Swipe Right” killer on the loose,...

Fall, the psychological horror thriller starring Shazam!'s Grace Caroline Currey and the Beautiful movie series' star Virginia Gardner, is a streaming hit. The film has stayed among the most watched films on Hulu, and it shows no signs of stopping its climb to the top. Something pretty ironic, considering the film's thrilling plot.
Currently sitting in the fifth spot on Hulu's Top 10 Movies, Fall was directed by Scott Mann, a relatively unknown director who co-wrote it with Jonathan Frank. It stars Currey and Gardner alongside The Walking Dead's Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Scream's Mason Gooding, as well as Darrell Dennis and Jasper Cole in secondary roles. Fall follows two friends, Becky and Shiloh, who find themselves stuck at the top of a 2,000-foot-tall rusty broadcasting tower, and they can't find a way to communicate with someone or climb down.

The Fall movie ending provides a nail-biting climax to an intense, high-altitude story of survival that leaves some questions unanswered and some deeper meanings ambiguous. Fall revolves around a grieving mountain climber named Becky whose husband Dan fell to his death. A year later, her friend Hunter proposes climbing to the top of a decommissioned 2,000-foot TV tower to scatter his ashes, and Becky agrees in the hope that it will help her to move on. However, they ironically end up fighting for their own lives when they’re stranded at the top with dwindling hope of survival.

Just in time for Halloween, a trailer for the BuzzFeed Studios-produced comedy thriller F Marry Kill made its way online (you can watch it in the embed above), and at that time the film was set to receive a digital, VOD, and limited theatrical release on December 6th. Since then, the release was pushed back to sometime in March in an effort to align the domestic release with its international roll-out… but some of the PVOD platforms didn’t get the message. As Deadline reports, F Marry Kill reached some digital stores and PVOD on December 6th, then disappeared a few hours later. So if you managed to catch the movie during that brief window last Friday – congratulations, you got a special sneak peek! If you didn’t catch it, there’s still three months left to wait for it.

Exclusive: Lionsgate’s Lucy Hale comedy-mystery F*** Marry Kill hit digital store shelves and PVOD this past Friday, December 6 — then disappeared a few hours later. We heard all the noise from genre fans.
What went on here? Is Lionsgate’s AI to blame? No, not at all.
Apparently, the R-rated Laura Murphy-directed title originally was scheduled for a December 6 drop, and fans were expecting it. But the release date changed a few weeks ago, and that message clearly didn’t get through to the PVOD platforms, hence the glitch.
Lionsgate isn’t burying or short-changing the movie, which is coming out via its theatrical day-and-date release label Lionsgate Premiere Releasing. The release-date change is an effort to align the movie with its international roll\out in March. We’re told that a recent screening, the filmmaker announced to attendees that they could expect to see F*** Marry Kill in March.

Agatha All Along has been a fantastic series, and there are more shows to watch if you love that witchy magic!
The Marvel Television series has become a major hit for Disney Plus. This sequel to WandaVision has Kathryn Hahn reprising her scene-stealing role as witch Agatha Harkness, the secret architect of much of the chaos. After regaining her memory and powers, Agatha goes on a quest for more power with the uneasy aid of other witches and a mysterious Teen.
The show has a wonderful mix of dark humor, action, thrills, drama and some truly shocking twists. It’s one of many TV shows that use witches and magic, most aimed at a YA audience. Others do have the same appeal as Agatha with a darker take on magic yet some truly offbeat storytelling.
Narrowing it down can be hard, but these 15 shows are just for anyone who enjoyed Agatha All Along.

Hollywood has long turned to sequels as a way of extending the relevance and success of iconic franchises, from slashers like Psycho to action movies like Die Hard. Typically, the film industry will release sequels in close succession, establishing a consistency for fans to count on regular outings for their favorite heroes until no longer profitable. For some movies, however, audiences have to wait decades for a continuation of a beloved story.
Sequels can take a while to come to fruition for a variety of reasons, from studios hesitant to give the green light to the original creators refusing new scripts or stars not wanting to come back. The 2010s and 2020s have been something of a golden age of sequels that fans had given up on, and many of them have been more than worth the wait. Not every sequel woos fans of the original, but sometimes it's better...

Back in June 2024, we learned that Fall stars Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey would be starring in an upcoming remake of the natural horror film The Breed. Well, guess who just joined the cast? Scream star Hayden Panettiere! She, along with several others, will be starring alongside Gardner and Currey in the new horror film.
Wait! We need to clear some things up about this movie first. It's not actually a remake. It was initially believed to be one, but instead, it's a sequel to The Breed. It's also been given an official title, A Breed Apart.
While it's still unclear who is writing the script for the film, filmmaking brothers Nathan and Griff Furst (Nightmare Shark) will be directing and producing via their Curmudgeon Films production company. In addition, Daro Film Distribution is signed on to co-produce and will be financing the movie as well.

Exclusive: Hayden Panettiere will star in A Breed Apart. Known for playing Claire Bennet in Heroes, Kirby Reed in slasher franchise Scream and Juliette Barnes in Nashville, Panettiere will take an as yet unspecified role in the film, which uses Wes Craven’s cult 2006 picture The Breed as a jump-off point.
In addition to Panettiere signing on, Deadline can also reveal the film has rounded out its ensemble cast.
Joey Bragg, Troy Gentile, Riele Downs and Page Kennedy will all appear. They join the previously announced Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey, who were seen together in vertigo-inducing Netflix movie Fall.
Billed as a reimagining of Wes Craven-produced and Nicholas Mastandrea-directed The Breed, the upcoming movie is more accurately a sequel of sorts and is set after events of the first film. The new picture originally bore the same name, but the title has now been tweaked.

While remakes can be hit-or-miss, we hope that the upcoming remake of the natural horror film The Breed does the original 2006 movie justice. We first learned of this film back in May 2024, and more information has come out since then.
The Breed is set to be directed and produced by filmmaking brothers Nathan and Griff Furst. They previously helmed the horror action film Nightmare Shark. With a sequel to the fear-of-heights thriller Fall on the way, Variety reports this week that the two stars of the 2022 movie will reunite for the upcoming remake of The Breed, a new take on the killer dog horror movie that was produced by Wes Craven back in 2006.
Virginia Gardner and Grace Caroline Currey will star alongside Page Kennedy (The Meg) in the remake that’s being directed by filmmaking brothers Sean and Bryan Furst.
The remake is described as “an unconventional reimagining of the Wes Craven cult classic,” though again the original movie wasn’t directed by Craven and isn’t quite a cult classic.
In any event, Curmudgeon Films will be producing The Breed. In the fresh take on the 2006 horror movie, “Violet [Grace Caroline Currey] is a rebel icon and badass on a mission to search for abandoned dogs on a remote island which leads to complete adrenaline-fueled terror.”

When the trailer for Fall debuted, it was safe to say the concept was totally ridiculous. It focused on Grace Caroline Currey's Becky and Virginia Gardner's Hunter scaling a 2000-foot radio tower in the middle of the desert, with the former hoping to get over her husband's tragic death and the latter doing it for social media clout, similar to the premise of Not Okay.
Still, the movie grounded itself in a sense of optimism as it unfolded, following science and logic despite Becky and Hunter's ridiculous plans. Unfortunately, common sense was a rare find in the movie, with Fall crashing badly through a series of plot holes and unanswered questions.

Director Scott Mann’s thriller Fall, which stars Grace Caroline Currey (Shazam!: Fury of the Gods) and Virginia Gardner (Halloween 2018) as a pair of characters who get stuck at the top of a 2000 foot tall radio tower, was given a theatrical release, but it wasn’t really a break-out hit. It made $21 million worldwide, on a budget of $3 million. More viewers watched it on Amazon, purchased it on Blu-ray or DVD (order it Here), or caught it on Starz or Netflix… and Fall was so successful on Netflix, it was enough to get back-to-back sequels greenlit by Capstone Studios! Late A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Last House on the Left and Scream director Wes Craven was responsible for some of the most iconic movies, characters and moments in horror cinema, but he was also behind his share of duds, and one of 'em is getting a remake.
Craven didn't actually direct 2006's The Breed, but he was a producer on the film, and recruited his A New Nightmare assistant director Nick Mastandrea to helm.
The movie focuses on two brothers and their friends who travel to an island cabin they inherited from their recently deceased uncle for a relaxing weekend getaway. The group is then besieged by genetically enhanced dogs bred to kill via an abandoned training facility on the Island.
The Breed was not well-received (to say the least), earning a 27% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Now, Variety reports that brothers Nathan and Griff Furst are set to direct a remake,...
