Kati Rausch is a published author in Germany. She wrote a film scientific book about sex and religion in the movies of Lars von Trier. ISBN: 9783836673839.

Rausch started performing as a stand-up comic at the age of 16, after she got special braces and was denied to participate in the auditions of some big German drama schools.

In 2011 Kati Rausch was nominated for the Health Media Award alongside with Sky du Mont, Walter Kohl and comedian Dieter Nuhr, and awarded as comedy newcomer of the year.

Rausch gained international attention as a stand-up comedian, performing in German, English and Finnish. Today she is a welcome guest on Finnish radio and TV shows.

Kati Rausch folded her PhD studies to work as a music TV presenter.
