Exclusive: International sales outfit LevelK and financing and production company Brick Lane Entertainment have boarded Bogieville, a new vampire horror flick directed by actor and director Sean Cronin (Give Them Wings).

Brick Lane Entertainment and LevelK will co-represent the film for North American distribution.

Described as “sinister” and “atmospheric” with strands of “comedic horror,” the film follows Jody and Ham, a young couple on the run after an unfortunate sequence of events. On their travels, they stumble upon a desolate trailer park, only to discover it is home to a nest of terrifying hillbilly vampires led by the formidable Madison. The park’s sinister caretaker, Crawford, persuades the couple to stay. But they soon learn of his tragic backstory — Madison has turned his twelve-year-old daughter Lily, dooming her to eternal childhood. Vampire Road Movie ‘Bogieville’ Sets FrightFest World Premiere: "British filmmaker, actor and “professional movie villain” Sean Cronin’s feature vampire road movie Bogieville has set its World Premiere at the 25th anniversary edition of the UK horror fan fantasy film festival FrightFest, taking place August 22-26 in London, England.

Bogieville – which was directed by Cronin from a screenplay by Henry P. Gravelle (The Over Easy Courthouse Café) was filmed in England, and is produced by Djonny Chen for Silent D Pictures, along with Cronin for Magnificent Films. Cronin as an actor has portrayed villains in dozens of box office hits, as well as having directed several award-winning titles.

From Magnificent Films and Silent D Pictures, director Sean Cronin’s vampire movie Bogieville has set its World Premiere at the 25th anniversary edition of the UK horror fan fantasy film festival FrightFest, taking place August 22-26 in London, England.

Indonesian film star Arifin Putra (The Raid 2) and newcomer Eloise Lovell Anderson (Villain) star, along with Sean Cronin as the lead vampire Madison.

Sarina Taylor (Solitary), Poppie Jae Hughes (Our Kid), Daniel P. Lewis (Wuthering Heights), Andrew Lee Pots (The Crown) and Katie Sheridan (The Royal Nanny) also star.

British filmmakers Sean Cronin and Peter Stylianou’s latest feature, “Drained,” has wrapped post-production and is being sold by Cronin’s Magnificent Films at the Cannes Film Market.

Cronin is also an actor who has appeared in “Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.” He has played villains in some 89 films, besides directing several titles.

“Drained,” a vampire film, co-directed and produced by Cronin and Stylianou from a screenplay by Stylianou, follows Thomas, a jobless post-graduate artist who falls for Rhea, a mysterious woman who is revealed to be a vampire. As their dark romance progresses, Thomas’s health declines, plunging him into a chaotic spiral.

The cast features Ruaridh Aldington (“Dirty Boy”) and Madalina Bellariu Ion (“Dampyr”) as the doomed lovers. Supporting roles are filled by Craig Conway (“Dog Soldiers”), Angela Dixon (“Never Let Go”), Andrew Lyle-Pinnock, Natasha Patel (“The Witcher: Blood Origin...

From Magnificent Films and Silent D Pictures, director Sean Cronin’s vampire movie Bogieville is headed to the Cannes market, and Bloody Disgusting has been exclusively provided with the bloody teaser trailer this afternoon. Sink your fangs into this first look trailer below.

Deadline first reported on Bogieville earlier this week, describing the upcoming film as a “southern fried vampire thriller.” And the vamps in this one look pretty gnarly, with their shark-like teeth reminding us a bit of the bloodsuckers in Radio Silence’s new movie Abigail.
