Born and raised in Hawai'i, Kanoa Goo has quickly established himself as a face to watch in both film and television. On the film side, he starred in "I Was A Simple Man" (Strand Releasing) alongside Constance Wu, with the film premiering at the Sundance Film Festival. It was later dubbed as one of the "Best Movies of the Year" by The New Yorker. He also recently co-starred in Zoe Eisenberg's directorial debut, "Chaperone", which premiered at Slamdance earlier this year, winning the jury's breakout feature award. On television, he has been seen in recurring arcs on both ABC's "The Rookie" and CBS' "Fire Country", the NBC pilot "Someone Out There", Showtime's "City On A Hill", and many more. Last year, he starred on stage in Martyna Majok's play, "Sanctuary City", at the esteemed Pasadena Playhouse, which won the Tony award for Best Regional Theatre that year.
