He is the only one of his parents' four children to have been born in the United States. Each of his sisters were born in City of Manila, Luzon, Republic of the Philippines, and he is also the only brother to his three older sisters.
He is an avid martial artist trained in three martial arts, holding black belts in Shotokan Karate, Taekwondo, and is trained in Kali Stick fighting, formally known as Arnis.
He is the youngest of four children and the only son.
