Born and raised in Western Australia on a small farm. An accomplished
martial artist/gymnast, after winning the national all styles martial
arts tournament at 19, Dan aspired to become a stuntman dreaming to
work with Jackie Chan.
In his endeavours to accomplish his dream, he enrolled in some local acting classes and performed in as much community theatre as possible, his most memorable being "Bus Stop" the Marilyn Monroe classic, where Dan played Bo Decker.
In 2010 Dan produced his first short film titled The Luger Story, he also played the young British sniper in the film.
In 2011 Dan produced his second short titled Good Pretender, which has screened in many festivals including Seattle, Palm Springs and Flickerfest. The young unknown lead in the film Olivia DeJonge, has since been nominated for a AACTA award for best young actor.
2012 will see Dan's first feature film production titled Short Film Maker. Dan is set to produce and play a supporting role in the film.
