Anthea Roa Born for the Spotlight
Anthea Roa got her Bachelor in Public Relations, and Advertising at Polytechnic University, Manila and is currently studying her Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration at Billy Blue Design School, Torrens University. Anthea is a talented and accomplished actress, singer, dancer, and model who is best known chiefly for her work in acting in the movies, Magkaribal, Chasing Fire, Native Tongue and upcoming films, Realm of the Waterfall, Keishara: Guardian of the Gods, Amy and The Lost Ship. Despite having a natural innate ability to be an actress, Anthea would never be the performer that she is today if it wasn't for the brilliant mentor that she had to guide her, Billy Milionis. Billy Milionis taught Anthea the Meisner technique of acting at a school called the Actors' Pulse. For two years Milionis taught Anthea how the Meisner technique gives the actor the ability to become accessible to other actors, and how to be a power performer by being alert to another person's behavior and use this knowledge to change or affect them using your own behavior and doings. The main goal of the Meisner technique is to train actors to respond to various behaviors or circumstances all with total honesty and being quick to react to any situation.
A large part of being an actor is preparing for the moment before the scene starts and never coming to set empty. Milionis instructed that the Meisner technique is based on a pyramid system consisting of different layers that go from bottom all the way to the top and knowing how to multitask with all layers and being extra sharp is one hell of a skill. The layer begins with Justification followed by importance, truth, urgent, and finally extremely urgent. Thanks to the great acting teacher Milionis, Anthea was able to fully channel her emotions as an actress and to face her demons in order to fully unlock and embrace the inner child within. Her inner child within is one of the main reasons why Anthea is very versatile, and she is always determined to learn new things. Billy Milionis is no ordinary acting instructor. He brought the Meisner technique to Australia and taught at the Actors Pulse which was formed in 1997. Billy Milionis is one of the few Australians to have ever studied under the legendary master teacher, the late Sanford Meisner. She starred in a major role in an indie film, Chasing Fire which won the Best in Screenplay at Barcelona, Spain Film Festival. And another lead role in So Much Pain and So In Love.
She co-produced Trafficked and worked behind the scenes in building the character of artists during the year 2013. Anthea Roa is a Sydney based Actress, Model, T.V. host and Personality who has been in the limelight for her upcoming movie "The Lost Ship" recently. Anthea is not only acting as one of the leads in the feature but has also lent her beautiful voice as a singer. Alongside Anthea, the movie includes known actors from America, Greece and other parts of Europe, such as Stephen Chang, Lee Arenberg, Tom Sizemore, John Fiore, Paul Borgease, Giorgos Aggelopoulos, and Yorgos Chraniotis to name a few. Written and directed by Akksar Allahabadi and Akhil Gaurav Singh, and cinematography by Kunal Khatoi, the movie is scheduled to hit the screens in December 2023. This film is extremely provocative and fascinating purely from a historical view, because it takes us back into the dark past of Nazi Germany, and then takes us through the years leading us right into the present. Talking about her upcoming movie, Usmania Pictures (India) and Krishangee Pictures (India) are producing the movie in association with Smith International Productions (U.S.A.) and Majestic Productions (U.S.A.). The film's plot is set in 1945, after the death of Adolf Hitler and Subhash Chandra Bose. It ends in the bizarre war between Ukraine and Russia in 2022.
Her major goal in merging the script of Basic Instinct and the lyrics of the song "Billingual" by Jose Nunez was to present her skill in seducing the protagonist in her acting show-reel. This is crucial to gaining power as a woman surrounded by a couple of men of unique personalities. It relies on all of them sharing the same hidden desire that has led to the undoing of men over centuries: a desire to physically experience a particular woman. The construction of Basic Instinct and the song Billingual is like a perfectly formulated concoction of "The Art of Seduction: Inspired by the book " The Art of War."And for those who have read the The Art of Seduction by Robert Greene it will become clear to them that for those who have mastered seduction it can put them in a position of power far greater than anyone can ever imagine. This power has been single-handedly responsible for toppling governments. What women realized about power is that biology can be an equalizer instead of simply creating an unfair advantage for people born as males. They noticed that all humans are at the mercy of our biology. While we think that our decisions are based on logic and rational thought, and usually our decisions are dictated by the basic animal instincts and the chemicals that control most of our actions. Throughout most of human history, power was largely gained through physical violence and maintained with but strength. Subtlety did not have a place in this environment; to retain power a king or emperor had to be merciless. It meant that only a select few people had power, while nearly everyone else suffered. No demographic suffered as under the hierarchy than women. We had no way to compete, and there were no weapons at our disposal that could beat a man so effectively as the power men naturally had. Politically, socially, and even domestically, men were in control. However they had one weakness: an insatiable desire for sex. The long lasting power that women can hold are exemplified by Bathsheba, from the Old Testament, the Chinese siren His Shi, and Cleopatra who mastered seduction to retain control as men continued to lose it around them. First the character would draw a man with alluring appearance, designing her makeup and adornment to fashion the image of a living goddess. By showing only glimpse of feminine flesh, Anthea's character in her show-reel would tease a man's imagination, stimulating the desire not just for sex but for something greater: the chance to possess such a fantasy.
Anthea also works as a film producer. She recently created her most emotional masterpiece ever when she produced the movie Everything but the Rain, an melancholic and truly heartbreaking story of a woman who was raped. In this movie the viewers get an opportunity to see the world through the eyes of the rape victim just moments before she dies. Her name is never revealed which is probably symbolic and significant to show us that society doesn't seem to care about these people. Anthea was born to be an actress with a natural talent for the craft, and she is a former Reservist at one of the most elite army in the Philippines, Scout Rangers Special Forces of the Philippines where she learned how to use weapons and did some intense combat training. She is also the Ambassadress of Blade Fighting called Kali. She can do Russian, French, Southern/Texan, British and Spanish accent. For someone who has been through so much pain during her teenage years she has successfully made it in her career in the entertainment industry. She will go on to win many awards due to her implementation of the Meisner technique in acting.
