Carolina Salom started her Industrial Design studies at the prestigious Universidad Javeriana, in Bogotá, Colombia in 2001. After completing five semesters, it became clear to her that her abilities and passion were better exploited when dealing with everything related with fashion, costumes, and styling. In 2005, she decided to pursuit her Fashion Degree in the Fashion Design program at LaSalle College International.
While completing her BFA and eager to gain experience, Carolina began working in commercials, music videos and TV series for Colombia's main broadcasters, allowing her to gain hands-on experience in the creation of elaborate costumes and styling.
In 2009, Carolina moved to New York City to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she plunged into her Wardrobe and Fashion Styling program. While in New York City her curiosity and her exploration of fashion and art only intensified. Carolina lives in LA where she continues to further her work as a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist in commercials, films and TV.
