Netflix released a batch of goodies from the upcoming, long-awaited Happy Gilmore sequel, Happy Gilmore 2. The streamer unveiled a minute-and-a-half teaser that shows Happy hitting the links again, looking for his happy place, and taking the iconic Happy Gilmore swing.

Adam Sandler reprises his role as the titular character, with the original comedy’s Julie Bowen, Ben Stiller, and Christopher McDonald joining him in the sequel. Newcomers include Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (aka Bad Bunny), Sadie Sandler, Sunny Sandler, and Blake Clark. A new teaser trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 has just been released. The official premiere date for the sequel has also been officially announced, set to hit Netflix on July 25, 2025.

With Adam Sandler reprising his role as the titular golfer, Happy Gilmore 2 will bring back several other familiar stars from the original film. Adam Sandler gave fans a Christmas morning surprise by debuting the teaser trailer for his upcoming movie Happy Gilmore 2, including a cameo from NFL star Travis Kelce!

The trailer debuted during Netflix’s Christmas Day coverage of the NFL games and Adam shared the clip on social media immediately after.

“Happy Chanukah! Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays! And Happy Gilmore to all!!!!!!” he tweeted.

The lessons in Netflix’s new animated coming-of-age musical Leo might be clichéd, but they are presented with enough heart to turn even the most cynical viewers into fans of the titular reptile.

Leo, voiced by Adam Sandler, is a lizard, and he’s lived in the same classroom for nearly 80 years. Hundreds of fifth-graders have walked through the halls of Fort Myer Elementary School, so there’s not much Leo hasn’t seen when it comes to angsty preteens and their anxious parents. Their aesthetics and preoccupations have changed — the most recent class of students are glued to their phones and no longer sporting mohawks — but their problems are largely the same. From his tank, which he shares with a turtle named Squirtle (Bill Burr), Leo observes each new batch of kids with a distant curiosity.

All of that shifts when Leo overhears an adult during parent-teacher conferences remarking on his age.

It’s a cool indie weekend when the new album by André 3000, New Blue Sun, has morphed into a “cinematic listening experience.” Variance Films is putting the experience, directed by Terence Nance, into three theaters in NYC (IFC Center), LA (Cinepolis Inglewood) and Atlanta (Tara).

This continues to be a big year for Adam Sandler, who is set to embark on a North American comedy tour on the heels of releasing one of the best-reviewed films of his career.

Live Nation announced Wednesday that the star is set to embark on the 25-city I Missed You tour, which launches Oct. 12 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. Its final date is set for Dec. 12 at Denver’s Ball Arena.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday at 12 p.m. following a Live Nation presale the day prior. This new tour follows his sold-out run of Adam Sandler Live shows that wrapped up earlier in 2023.
