Hugh Brunt is a conductor, orchestrator, arranger and composer, known for his work on The Master (2012), Suspiria (2018), Alien: Covenant (2017) and Stranger Things (2016). He studied at Oxford University, where he held a choral scholarship, and is co-Artistic Director and co-Principal Conductor of the London Contemporary Orchestra. A collaborator of Jonny Greenwood, he conducted the world premiere live screening of There Will Be Blood (2007) in 2014. He has appeared with orchestras including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and New York Philharmonic.
