Australian series “Bad Behaviour,” which is set to premiere at Berlinale Series next month, has its first trailer and release date.

The series – based on the book by Rebecca Starford – will bow on Australian streamer Stan on Feb. 17 as a boxset.

“Bad Behaviour” is a four-part series that tells the story of an exclusive girls boarding school, where the options are to be bullied or to become a bully as the girls vie for power and acceptance.

The show stars Jana McKinnon (“We Children from Bahnhof Zoo”), Markella Kavenagh (“The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power”) and Yerin Ha (“Halo”).

McKinnon plays 25-year-old Jo Mackenzie, who has flashbacks to her brutal year at boarding school when she bumps into an old friend, Alice (Ha).

Filming of the four-part show, which is adapted from the acclaimed book of the same name by writer Rebecca Starford, has now completed in Victoria, Australia. It is expected to play on Australian streaming platform Stan later this year.

McKinnon (“We Children of Bahnhof Zoo”) stars as scholarship student, who arrives at Silver Creek for a year of character building at the wilderness campus of an exclusive girl’s boarding school. Instead, she finds herself in a dormitory of the most volatile and the most vulnerable.

From Mickey Fisher, the Reverie TV show is a cutting-edge techno-thriller. The drama centers on former hostage negotiator Mara Kint (Shahi), an expert on human behavior. After a horrific, personal tragedy, Mara left that field to become a college professor.

Her semi-retirement is totally upended, when her former boss, Charlie Ventana (Haysbert), drafts her for a new mission. Their new mission is to save regular people who have essentially lost themselves in a virtual-reality of their own making.

Reverie is done at NBC. 

The peacock network has swung the ax on the Sarah Shahi-fronted thriller after just one season. 

Launching in May to 2.9 million viewers and a mere 0.6 rating in the demo, Reverie Season 1 went on to average 2.1 million total viewers and a 0.4 rating. 

With such low on-air ratings, the show was not expected to return for a sophomore run, and the biggest surprise was that it got to air all of its episodes without being pulled from the schedule.

"A former detective specializing in human behavior is brought in when the launch of an advanced virtual reality program has dangerous and unintended consequences," reads the official logline. 

Reverie was picked up to series in May 2017 and was considered one of NBC's more promising pilots, but the delayed launch, coupled with the lack of viewer interest is likely the biggest reasons for its demise.

Nightmarish news for Reverie fans: NBC has cancelled the Sarah Shahi-fronted virtual reality thriller after one season.

Reverie premiered at the end of May to 2.9 million total viewers and a 0.6 demo rating, but spent most of its 10-episode freshman run in the 2 million/0.4 range. Among all of this summer’s scripted fare, it ranked fourth (behind Marlon, Shades of Blue and Elementary), while soundly beating the off season’s other big network drama, CBS’ Salvation.

NBC has opted not to renew high-concept drama series Reverie for a second season. The news is not a surprise following the series’ low-rated freshman run.

Reverie, starring Sarah Shahi and Dennis Haysbert, premiered on May 30 and averaged 2.1 million viewers in Live+same day, the smallest viewership for an NBC original series this past summer.

The psychological thriller focuses on the Reverie program, which uses a client's social media to create a virtual-reality dream world.

Unfortunately, some prefer the virtual world to reality, and Charlie, head of security for Onira-tech, recruits his former co-worker, Mara Kint, to enter these dream scenarios and entice these clients out before they die in the real world.

Have a box of Kleenex handy for Red Band Society‘s two-hour series finale on Saturday (8/7c on Fox), warns executive producer Rina Mimoun — but not just to mop up tears of heartbreak.

“By the time we were writing Episode 13, while we didn’t know 100 percent that it was the series finale, Fox had indicated it was at least going to be the season finale,” she explains. “So we didn’t want to leave it on a downbeat. People come in, and people go out, but there’s always hope.”

Here's a little good news/bad news situation regarding "Awkward." When Season 4 debuts, two faces won't be returning: Ming and Collin.

When the new "Awkward" showrunners Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler spoke to Buzzfeed for the first time since taking over the MTV critical darling from creator Lauren Iungerich (who left the series in June), they revealed the casting change-up, of which one-half was deeply upsetting. 

"Jessica Lu [who plays Ming] is not returning," Alberghini says. "She wanted to move on." Ming was Jenna's Bff, and for a brief time was the head of the Asian Mafia, a hilarious and quirky B story arc that will also not be returning in the new season. Her absence will definitely be missed, as she's been a major part of the series since day one.

Jenna’s relief at her life returning to its pre-Collin stage took a sharp hit at the end of last week, as Matty clearly indicated he had moved on from their relationship. Combined with Jenna’s guilt over all the pain she had caused during her sanity sabbatical, this latest action seemed to be the universe’s way of telling her that the road to recovery was not over yet. This week’s season finale focuses on Jenna as she tries to come to terms with the changes in her life, in a strong episode that emphasizes the season’s strengths while illuminating a different side of some key characters.

It’s interesting to see Jenna reconcile with herself this week.

Despite Jenna finally making positive strides towards repairing her friendships last week, the suspension and eventual firing of Valerie proved that she still had some more work left to do to right the wrongs she had perpetrated during her sanity sabbatical. This problem seemed particularly troublesome, as there was no clear way for Jenna to rectify the situation, unlike fixing the issues she had with her friends. This week focuses on Jenna’s efforts to get Valerie reinstated as prom looms large over the group, in a solid episode that closes the book on a number of storylines, while opening up some intriguing new avenues for the show to go down.

Having Bailey as a romantic rival to Jenna is a very intriguing idea.

Teen Wolf may be howlingly homoerotic (see our Teen Wolf gay highlight reel for proof), but let’s not overlook the welcome gay overtones of another MTV gem. Awkward. is nearing the end of it’s third season and since the show’s launch in July 2011 it has featured plenty of queer highlights, such as that proud bromance between Jake (Brett Davern) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff), witty gay sidekick Clark (Joey Haro) throwing shade from the sidelines and secretly hooking up with closeted, now-deceased Ricky (Matthew Fahey). There was also that “It Gets Moderately Ok” video and Ming (Jessica Lu) taking a girl to the prom.
