QVC is entering the ever-growing original holiday movie space this year with the debut of its first-ever title in the genre, “Holly & the Hot Chocolate.”
Streaming on free platform QVC+ beginning Thanksgiving Day, the film revolves around Holly, “a big city food critic who unexpectedly finds herself stuck in the small town of Pine Falls during Christmas,” per QVC’s description. “Surrounded by locals who love the season as much as she does, Holly soon learns at the center of their holiday spirit is a special hot chocolate recipe sold in the town square. With the help of a charming, albeit humbuggish, tow-truck driver, Holly gets to experience firsthand why Pine Falls is one of the best Christmas towns in America — and what makes their hot chocolate so magical.”
The idea for the movie came from QVC’s “In the Kitchen” host David Venable, who makes a cameo appearance...

The Other Two, the comedy series from former SNL co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider, has scored a third-season pickup from HBO Max.
The series, which originally launched on Comedy Central before moving the WarnerMedia streamer for its second season, debuted its sophomore season on HBO Max in August. The streamer, which didn’t release viewing data, said that the show has been its most popular series since the release of Season 2 and has seen “steady growth each week” as new episodes dropped.
The comedy, which might be the only show on television that has a storyline based on Justin Bieber getting ill as a result of eating too many eggs, stars Drew Tarver, Heléne Yorke, Case Walker, Ken Marino and Molly Shannon.
With their pop star brother, ChaseDreams (Case Walker), officially entering retirement at the ripe old age of 14, Brooke (Yorke) and Cary (Tarver) now must contend with...

“The Other Two” duo of Drew Tarver and Heléne Yorke are back! The series, focused on the lives of brother and sister Cary and Brooke Dubek, is moving from its original home on Comedy Central over to the HBO Max streaming service. The first trailer for Season 2 dropped and, dare we say, Cary and Brooke might be acting a little bit more mature than they once were?
The comedy follows Cary and Brooke who are the “other two” older siblings of superstar Chase Dubek (Case Walker). Unfortunately, Cary and Brooke are still having a hard time breaking into the industry; the former looks to be hosting a digital E! series while the latter is participating in her mom Pat’s (Molly Shannon) new talk show.

After a very long hiatus following its first season, “The Other Two” is finally debuting its second season later this month. On Wednesday, HBO Max — the new home of the former Comedy Central series — released the trailer for the upcoming episodes, which see siblings Cary (Drew Tarver) and Brooke (Heléne Yorke) play second fiddle yet again, but this time not to their famous brother, Chase Dubek (Case Walker).
Nope, now it’s their mom Pat Dubek (played by Molly Shannon) who is hogging all the spotlight from her desperate-to-be-famous kids.
Per HBO Max’s description for Season 2 of “The Other Two”: With their pop star brother, ChaseDreams (Case Walker), officially entering retirement at the ripe old age of fourteen, Brooke and Cary (Heléne Yorke and Drew Tarver) must now contend with a new famous family member: their 53-year-old mother Pat (Molly Shannon), and her eponymous daytime talk show. The talent both behind and in front of the camera of Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” could have just been making sourdough bread and having Zoom meetings as they passed the time away while social distancing themselves as the coronavirus pandemic continues. Typically, they would be shooting Season 4 of show right about now as the sitcom that stars Rachel Brosnahan as an Upper West Side housewife turned stand-up comic further embraces the ’60s.
Instead, in the spirit of Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney, the gang decided to put on a show. Musicians, the cast and crew pieced together a clever array of Season 3 clips and new footage to produce a 10-minute tune-filled music video. Yes, the married pair behind “Mrs. Maisel” — creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino — made the video to promote their For Your Consideration Emmy campaign. The producers of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel brought together the singers, musicians and dancers featured in the series’ third season for new, socially distanced performances of three songs from the series. Between clips from the show, the actors perform “One Less Angel,” “No One Has to Know” and “Strike Up the Band.”
The 11-minute clip, which doubles as a “For Your Consideration” bid for the Emmys, features three songs sung by Darius de Haas, the singing voice for character Shy Baldwin, and the three backup singers who comprised the Singing Belles: Markita Prescott,...

Quarantine sure stoked the creative juices of “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” team. Normally, they’d be busy working on a new season of “Maisel” at this point. But since they’re following Covid-19 stay-at-home orders, the show’s dancers, musicians, cast and crew instead put together a 10-minute music video.
The video, which Amazon Prime Video will share with all TV Academy members on Monday, was the brainchild of “Maisel” creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, promotes the show’s Emmy For Your Consideration efforts but also doubles as a showcase to raise awareness and support for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, MusiCares, and Swans for Relief.
Shot in just three days, more than 60 people put this together. It opens with Ryan Farrell as Brye Adler, the host of “Miami After Dark.” Farrell filmed from his home in Brooklyn, which he redressed to match the show’s Miami aesthetic.

Yes, we know that the actor playing the new companion is Jenna-Louise Coleman, but what we didn’t know, and may not yet know for sure, is the character’s name. Apparently location shooting has begun with the new companion for Doctor Who, and people who have been near the site have been able to snap a few pictures and caught the companion’s name, or think they did.
The shoot is reportedly for the 11th episode of the new season. We already knew that the new companion will debut on the Christmas special, so that makes sense. Wait til you see Matt Smith‘s great look in these pics. Ready?
