“Blue Bloods” may be coming to a natural conclusion, but its epic Sunday dinners don’t have to end — not so long as its fans have internet access, a dining-room table, and all of the cookware required by the one Wahlberg brother who doesn’t act.
On Monday, October 14, “Blue Bloods” star Donnie Wahlberg’s brother Paul Wahlberg — the Wahlburgers restaurant chain’s chef — will share the first of eight family-dinner recipes, each aligned with one of the CBS procedural’s final eight episodes. And the CBS/Wahlburgers collab is going way beyond burgers.
The Friday, October 18 “Blue Bloods” Season 15 premiere will feature Donnie Wahlberg, Tom Selleck’s mustache, and “a hearty roast beef meal with all the trimmings,” according to a Tuesday press release. Four days earlier, Chef Paul will post an instructional video and written recipe for “a delicious corresponding meal of roast beef, roasted potatoes, green beans,...

Continuing the trend of giving a reality TV show to anyone with a famous face to maximize on low production costs and high audience recognition, Wahlburgers follows the aspiring burger business of Paul Wahlberg, one of the lesser known siblings of actors Donnie Wahlberg and Mark Wahlberg. Much like any other reality TV show out there, Wahlburgers has to do as much as it can with as little substance as possible, and it never really succeeds. Episodes feel like minor happenings that have been stretched and inflated to fill 21 minutes with material that could have been covered in 2. The supposed draw of the series is the interactions between the Wahlberg siblings, their mother, and Mark’s HBO immortalized “entourage”, but even then each episode tries to do too much with far too little and so each of the 9 episodes of the first season feels empty.

Paul is the head honcho at the Hingham, Massachusetts eatery as well as the newer Alma Nove Italian joint, though Donnie and Mark have plenty of input.
Back in November, the New Kids on the Block singer told Arsenio Hall, "It'll be called Wahlburgers, just like the burgers. [People] called us that as kids, they'd tease me, they'd say 'Wahlburger,' if they weren't calling me 'Junior Jailbird,' 'cause of my older brothers being inmates all the time. They'd say, 'Hey, Ronald Wahlburger,' so we got the last laugh and opened a burger joint with the name.
Slated to premiere on A&E on January 22nd at 10:30pm, “Wahlburgers” follows the tight-knit Boston family’s business Wahlburgers, opened in 2011.

Mark Wahlberg joined his mother Alma Elaine Wahlberg, and his two brothers Donnie and Paul Wahlberg at the grand opening of their new hamburger restaurant, Wahlburgers, in Hingham, Ma yesterday. The famous family has the perfect name for a burger joint, and Paul will serve as the chef at what is sure to be a hot spot in Beantown. Mark is currently between projects since being replaced by Bradley Cooper in David O.Russell's The Silver Lining Playbook, but Wahlberg does have a number of titles coming out in 2012. We were recently treated to the first trailer for Contraband, his upcoming heist movie, and he'll also show off his funny side opposite Mila Kunis in quirky comedy Ted. Mark is also enjoying the success of Boardwalk Empire, which he produces and is currently in the midst of its second season on HBO. View Slideshow ›...

Say hi to your mother freakin' quarter pounder for me!
In today's mouth-watering news you can use, actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg are teaming with chef brother Paul Wahlberg to open the eponymous Wahlburgers restaurant, which will serve—you guessed it!—hot-off-the-grill hamburgers.
The news comes from the Boston Herald, who report that the brothers had to secure naming rights from a Rochester, N.Y.-based restaurant that already sold something called the "Wahlburger." (Who knew?!) The 4,300 square-foot restaurant is set to open "soon," across from the brother's Italian restaurant, Alma Nove, in Hingham, Mass.
We, for one, can't wait to hang tough with a juicy Wahlburger, but why stop there? Plenty of celebrities have food-friendly names that we could see printed on those little paper placemats. Check out our epicurean suggestions after the jump!

Get ready to never be satisfied by any other restaurant ever again: according to the Boston Herald, Mark Wahlberg’s restaurant Wahlburgers is set to open soon, a joint venture the actor is opening with brother Donnie Wahlberg, among others. Wahlburgers? That’s it. Shut it down. As for as we’re concerned, every other eating establishment on the planet no longer exists (except for Red Lobster, of course, since that name is also completely dead-on).
Reportedly the brothers’ restaurant recently finished securing its amazing title after negotiating with existing burger joint Tom Wahl’s, which sold a “Wahlburger.” Please, please, please let Wahburgers be a theme restaurant where all the waiters are shirtless boxers on brink of collapse. Please let every mother who orders an entree get a free personal hi from chef Paul Wahlberg, Mark and Donnie’s older brother. We didn’t even have to make a joke about that one.

They're the guys who own this establishment. You must be the other guy. Of all the business ideas Donnie and Mark Wahlberg have bandied about, this has to be the most inspired: The famed brothers have licensed the name Wahlburger from Rochester, N.Y.-based fast food chain Tom Wahl's to open their own burger joint in their hometown of Boston. We can imagine the menu already: Anyone for The Right Stuff patty melt? How about a Sixth Sense salad? Or maybe a Marky Mark milkshake? Per the Boston Herald, the New Kids on the Block singer and The Departed star, along with other brother and chef Paul Wahlberg, heard that Tom Wahl's had sold a product named the "Wahlburger." As it...
