Crystal Harris was reportedly planning to stand up Hugh Hefner at the altar, on their wedding day.

The New York Post claims that the Playboy model has approached Lifetimne aout a TV deal, which would see her jilting the media boss.

“Crystal wanted to ditch Hef at the altar,” a source insisted. “Her plan was to walk up the aisle and say she couldn’t go through with it. The wedding was to be filmed for a reality special, and her refusal to marry him would be a sensation.

“She was looking for a tie-in deal of around $500,000 for the exclusive ‘I ditched Hef at the altar’ interview. While there was interest, Crystal didn’t get an offer anywhere near half a million.”

However, Harris’s manager Michael Blakey denies the rumours and said that the comments are “not true, to my knowledge”.

Hugh Hefner has confirmed reports his weekend wedding is off.

The Playboy publishing mogul, 84, proposed to Playmate Crystal Harris on Christmas Day and was due to tie the knot with the 24 year old on Saturday.

However, TMZ.com reports suggested Hefner's bride-to-be had called off the nuptials and moved out of the publisher's Hollywood mansion - five days before the big day.

And Hefner has now taken to Twitter.com to announce the news in the same way he announced the shock engagement.

He writes, "The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart."

Harris' manager Michael Blakey tells People.com, "The split was a mutual decision and the two remain good friends."...

Update: Life & Style reports that another man, Crystal's songwriting partner Jordan McGraw, came between Crystal and Hef. The magazine first spotted Crystal and Jordan, who is Dr. Phil's son, getting cozy at the Chateau Marmont in March.
