The new anime film Suzume is the latest hit from Your Name director Makoto Shinkai, and it's already one of the most successful anime films of all time, even before it's had its English-language debut on April 14. The cast of the English dub features a lot of voices that fans may recognize from other works, simply due to their prolific careers. Here's an overview of who will be voicing who in the blockbuster anime film, as well as some of their most notable prior roles which fans might remember them from.

It was an anime film by Makoto Shinkai about two young people who switch bodies and learn about each other's lives, and it was so stunningly beautiful and touching that I had to sit in my seat for a bit before I could talk about it. Crunchyroll has revealed a new US trailer for the acclaimed anime film Suzume, the latest magical creation from beloved filmmaker Makoto Shinkai - director of Your Name and Weathering with You previously. It's an action adventure road story around Japan. 17-year-old Suzume's journey begins in a quiet town in Kyushu when she encounters a man who tells her, "I'm looking for a door." Soon, doors begin to open across Japan, bringing destruction upon any who are near them. Suzume must close these portals to prevent further disaster. Exclusive: Crunchyroll has tapped Nichole Sakura (Superstore) for the title role in the English-language dub of their acclaimed animated feature Suzume, which in addition to the original subtitled version, debuts in theaters in Australia and New Zealand on April 13, coming to the U.S., Canada, the UK and Ireland the following day.

"Mine" is a short film of three friends travelling through the desert on vacation. Along the way they meet some shady characters, who get the friends involved in a dangerous trade. A trailer for the film is now available, which shows the character Kurt (Jason Lockhart) to be a little more mischievous than others expect. This is the third film from Runway Pictures and also starring are Jennifer Sun Bell and Roy Huang. Prepare for this one at a film festival near you including Traverse City, Rome and Prince Edward Island. A trailer is below.

In the vein of such classic suspense thrillers as Duel or Joy Ride comes Mine starring Jason Lockhart (Vampire Boys). Mine follows Derrick, Allison and Kurt who abandon the city for a little vacation. Derrick and Kurt are best friends. Allison and Derrick are engaged to be married. Kurt believes that rules were made to be broken. Allison thinks Kurt needs to grow up. But Kurt's talent for mischief will soon draw the attention of an unwelcome stranger; a man who will teach them that in order to survive in the desert, one must follow the rules - his rules.

Mine is directed by Greg Thompson and also stars Jennifer Sun Bell (My Super Psycho Sweet 16: Part 2) and Douglas Bennett (Gone In Sixty Seconds). For such a low budgeted film, Mine appears to have really polished production values. Hopefully, it can deliver the edge of your seat thrills...

Mine is a 34 minute short film that mixes elements of drama, suspense and psychological horror. The film is currently in post production, but it is nearing completion. Mine was shot on a budget of $40,000.
