Modern Masters: SS Rajamouli, directed by Raghav Khanna and Tanvi Ajinkya, is a documentary that takes us inside the mind of the prolific filmmaker and gives us a sneak peek into his entire creative process. I believe “Rajamoulis” are created when one is passionate about what one does and is not afraid to put in the hard work. I mean, if you love anything like Rajamouli loves films, you are bound to become successful. Here was a man who had spent his life on film sets, who had seen what it felt like when people didn’t come to watch the cinema you have created with so much hard work. He is the kind of man who knows what loss is and what it means to fail in life, and it could be said that his experiences have been his biggest teacher.

Kangana Ranaut Takes Digs At Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Wife Anupama Chopra(Photo Credit –Instagram/wikimedia)
Kangana Ranaut is one person who is impossible to decode. On days, she will love, and on other days, she will hate some. And this time, her wrath has been unleashed upon a famous film critic, journalist, and Bollywood life. So, like most of the time, Ms Ranaut has decided to take things out of context and put them in her hypothetical perspectives.
Kangana decided to take brutal digs at Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s wife for suggesting things about 12th Fail, which might have been true in terrible circumstances, but hopefully, the film worked well.
On her X account (formerly known as Twitter), Kangana Ranaut, through her account, Kangana Team, called out names for Anupama Chopra in a rather distasteful tweet. Anyone would have been shocked to read the contents of this tweet, which is now going viral.

In 2019, film critic Anupama Chopra concluded her interview with Sandeep Reddy Vanga - whose recently released Kabir Singh had stirred much controversy for its violence against women - expressing her hopes that his next film will be less controversial. To this, Vanga assured Chopra that if anything, his next film was going to be more controversial: "I'll show them what a violent film looks like." 4 years later, Vanga delivered on his promise with Animal, a film that revels in chopped limbs and slit throats and makes Kabir Singh's misogyny feel rather respectful.

Shah Rukh Khan Was Once Arrested For Abusing A Journalist (Picture Credit: IMDb)
Shah Rukh Khan might seem to be the most sensible man in Bollywood but there have been times when the actor has lost his calm and how! The same happened in the 90s when he was arrested after a journalist filed a complaint against Srk. But him being the Pathaan he is, he did not care still and threatened the journalist further in front of the policemen.
This story dates back to the time when Shah made a film called Maya Memsaab in 1992. He had shot some of the most explicit scenes of his career for the film. Some of the scenes were n*de as well. However, a magazine reported that the actor spent a night with actress Deepa Shahi to get comfortable before shooting for those scenes.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has recently done a discussion with the best actors of 2023, which included her Jaane Jaan co-star Jaideep Ahlawat, 12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey, Kathal actress Jyothika, Animal actor Bobby Deol among others. One of the major parts of the discussion was the age-old debate of star vs actor.
Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about how it has been 23 years, and she has been constantly fighting to prove her worth as an actor and prove the fact that she is more than her looks. However, the actress asserted that while she knows that she brings much more to the table than just being a gorgeous woman, it is the industry and the thought process of the filmmakers.

Ranveer Singh Replaces Shah Rukh Khan For The 4th Time In Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 171
Speculations have been rife that after Shah Rukh Khan turned down Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film with Rajinikanth, called Thalaivar 171, the Leo director has approached Ranveer Singh for the extended cameo which surprisingly leaves us with a very valid question – Has Ranveer become Srk’s replacement in the industry?
Well, definitely, he was Salman Khan’s replacement earlier, as he replaced Bhai in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat as well. The Gunday actor even replaced Ranbir Kapoor in Dil Dhadakne Do, and while he has been the go-to actor for the past few years, his success has definitely been a testimony to the fact that these replacements have not gone wrong.
According to a Pinkvilla report, while Shah Rukh Khan was approached by Lokesh Kanagaraj for an extended cameo in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Srk politely passed the offer.

Why Animal Is A Box Office Blockbuster? Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Marketing Masterstroke That Fooled Everyone! ( Photo Credit – IMDb; T-Series / YouTube )
717 crore in just ten days! That’s what Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal had earned at the worldwide box, and all of this hasn’t come lightly. The amount of opinions this film has generated might be higher than what it has earned, and all thanks to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s mischievous mind. Why mischievous? Because Animal is purely the result of the “Oh! You didn’t like Kabir Singh? Wait, I’ll show you how that was nothing” mindset.
Is it even ethical? Well, while we discuss ethics, producers of the film are just waiting to enter the 1000-crore club already working on the sequel ‘Animal Park,’ which will apparently be wilder than this one. Of course, it will be! Why not? When you can get this level of interest by going hardcore once,...

Law And Order
The Indian parliament has passed the Cinematograph (Amendment) Bill, which aims to curb piracy that causes losses of INR200 billion ($2.4 billion) to the film industry, according to government estimates. Those found guilty of film piracy by way of camcording in theaters or unauthorized copying and online transmission and exhibition of a pirated copy of any film will now face punishment of minimum three months imprisonment and a fine of $3,650, which can be extended up to three years imprisonment and fine up to 5% of the audited gross production cost.
The bill also introduces age-based categories of certification by further sub-dividing the existing UA category into seven years (UA 7+), 13 years (UA 13+) and 16 years (UA 16+), instead of 12 years. These age-based markers are recommendatory only, meant for the parents or guardians to consider whether their children should view a film. Mumbai, April 6 (Ians) It’s one of those days when producer-entrepreneur Karan Johar receives flak on the Internet. Writer-editor Apurva Asrani, who is known for his work in ‘Aligarh’, and ‘The Kashmir Files’ director Vivek Agnihotri have slammed KJo over something that he said in past.
An old video of KJo telling Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma that he wanted to “murder her career” has surfaced online and the Netizens including Apurva and Vivek are not pleased, to put it mildly.
In 2016, Karan said at an event that he asked Aditya Chopra to not cast Anushka in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’.
Sharing the same video on his Twitter, Apurva Asrani tweeted on Thursday: “‘I totally wanted to murder Anushka Sharma’s career’ – Karan Johar confesses to Rajeev Masand and Anupama Chopra in 2016. Said in jest, I’m sure, but still a worthy point in the raging insider-outsider debate.”
Vivek, who took notice of the tweet,...
