David is an experienced drama editor based in London. His most recent credits include Jed Mercurio's thriller "Trigger Point" starring Vicky McClure which won Best New Drama at the NTA awards in 2022 and was ITV's highest rated drama of the year pulling in an average of 9.5 million per episode. He also recently edited block one of ITV thriller "Payback" starring Morven Christie and Peter Mullan and "DI Ray" starring Parminder Nagra and Gemma Whelan.
David has worked in the tv industry for over 20 years. He trained at the BBC in London and edited high profile drama, entertainment, sports and children's television programmes. He was part of the editing team on 3 Olympic Games, 4 World Cups, and 4 European football championships and edited films for the prestigious BBC Sports Personality of the Year for a decade. In 2011 David left the BBC and is now a freelance editor specialising in drama for film and television.
