- Emily is a classical musician, music editor, and the owner of Papercranes Music. In 2020, she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Sound Editorial for her music editorial work on Netflix's G.L.O.W. She studied clarinet at USC and Cal Arts with a focus on modern music. During her studies, she took an interest in orchestration, and that affection, combined with her love of puzzles and untangling necklaces, made the perfect base for the specific craft of music editing. Emily has been a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild Local 700 since 2007 and created the IATSE signatory, Papercranes Music, in 2016. Papercranes Music focuses on collaboration, creativity, and efficiency while working closely with composers and editorial teams. Emily loves to laugh, read novels written by women, walk in nature, eat cheese with new world reds and is also somewhat clumsy. To everyone's benefit, she recently acquired an alto saxophone and has been learning many classic 80's sax solos. Mostly, though, Emily loves the reverb ring-out into silence after the final note of a live symphonic performance and would live in that space eternally, if it were possible.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Papercranes Music
